Good afternoon, my reader, colleague and client! There are situations when it is impossible to stay away... These are the times now. At first we were adapting to information about the coronavirus, now we are experiencing anxiety for a completely different reason... You can (and should) look at it! ) from different sides. We still remember, thanks to history, why some phenomena are terrible, which, no worse than coronavirus, affect the blood (soul) and brain (consciousness). Therefore, here I am not asserting anything and just trying to be a little philosopher / observer. And also because I don’t play political games. Yes... politics is politics... But there are people, ordinary people, those for whom war is evil and death. Death is our worst fear. We are all afraid of it. In such periods uncertainty and escalation of the situation, this fear paralyzes consciousness and will. Therefore, I want to give some recommendations to those who feel anxiety rising in their throats. I am for the environmental friendliness of consciousness and will try to help you below by writing how to create conditions for your mind to be in purity. Choose information consciously, that is, do not overload yourself with information on alarming topics (in general, try to limit the media, unless this is part of your professional activity). This is not frivolity, but a preventive measure! The most important thing can be learned from short news and from the mouth competent people in your immediate environment. Reduce as much as possible visual (scenes of violence), sound (noise, screams) and other stimuli that cause anxiety. In general, eliminate the “noise” outside and inside (sometimes our interior space needs a dustpan, broom and rag - do some spring cleaning). Focus on your breathing and be more attentive than ever to your body. Do not forget about proper rest (during sleep the nervous system is restored). Focus on important (for you personally, those from your value system) things. Find ways to transfer and concentrate attention on something positive or at least neutral (rearrange the furniture or think about repairs). I already anticipate phrases like “Is she crazy, what kind of repairs, when is this happening here!” I answer: I’m not crazy, I know how it works, including from personal experience and you choose to live on or be afraid. Remember, where your attention goes, your energy goes! If you feel the warning signs of a panic attack, then “burn off the adrenaline” with physical activity (sports / garden preparation / just active movement and focusing on breathing (if you are already in the moment of PA). Nature heals, be in the fresh air more often, ventilate the room. Step back from thoughts on frightening topics (anxiety has a place in life in any circumstances, BUT only if you give it to it in your mind). Don’t feed your dragon (see point above), change your focus. Remember acceptance We are not all in. We have the power to change, but we can definitely do something with our thoughts and feelings! Read the words / prayer that are meaningful to you or compose your own. Turn to the power that is higher than human. Trust and do for yourself what you can. yourself and your loved ones, just like that, without causing anxiety. Believe in the best and smile at people. And also remember that you are not alone. If you need help, contact a psychologist (me and my colleagues at b.17 are always at the post of your safety) .Maintain and increase your inner sense of security in the ways that are available to you (without harm to others).Talk to your children! Talk not about politics, but about life and people. About the fact that there are difficult times, but you are nearby. Focus not on the external, but on the internal (build up your support through the implementation of personal and social (through helping others) values. All this will allow you to be more resistant, including to provocations from outside .Peace and goodness to you!
