How to change minuses to pluses? Balakhonskaya G.V. Audio version of the article here https://www.b17.ru/media/90457/Change cons to pros... The name, of course, may be intriguing :) Is this even possible?? It turns out like this, it’s possible to say, "oxymoron" :) If I'm joking. After all, plus and minus are opposites. But the very presence of a minus presupposes the presence of a plus! You just need to see it. Here is my article Any double-edged sword Well, just like a magnet always has two poles. That is, you can treat this as you like, but this is a given. Existence. Which it is desirable to understand. And this understanding can help in those situations that are perceived as a complete minus. This means that the pluses need to be looked for and found. Yes, I, of course, am not saying that it is always simple. After all, psychologically, a minus is about something unpleasant. It happens, and it’s very unpleasant...There are, accordingly, a lot of negative feelings there. Different, of course. But - negative. Which are not easy to experience. And which, naturally, you want to avoid. Leave them, turn them off. Is this real? After all, if we try to suppress our negative feelings without allowing ourselves to experience them, they do not go away. And they remain inside us. And they are hoarding. Taking away a lot of vitality. Because pressing them requires great tension. Well, it's like in physics - the action force is equal to the reaction force. Well-known law. Try, dear friends, to hit the wall with your fist. The fist will hurt. Because the wall will “knock” in response. With your own strength. And if you hit harder, then the wall will respond harder. It doesn't take long to break a fist :) It's the same with feelings. The harder you push, the harder they push. And sometimes they push so hard that they are just on guard. Only if there is a wall - everything is very clear there, so to speak. And obviously. Why are you hitting the wall yourself! And you get the answer immediately and palpably. But with the psyche, we may not understand what exactly we are doing. We do it ourselves! Let's press. Sami! And we also get the answer ourselves. It hurts! And this “minus”, which we try not to feel, can literally fill everything. When there is melancholy and hopelessness. And at the same time, it’s impossible to even think about any pluses!.. Because the minus is perceived as some kind of continuous one. But if you still remember about Nature! Which, as they sometimes joke, you can’t fool :) At least this in itself can push you to look for a plus. Which simply has to be! Nature! The minus, of course, cannot be canceled - since it already exists. And, of course, we need to deal with it. Consider it in more detail. At the same time, not forgetting that every medal (or every coin, as you prefer) has two sides. Always. The fact that we focused on one side does not negate the other. Sometimes it, this second side, may be where we are not looking at all. In principle, we don’t look, but in vain! Here, as an example, I’ll tell you, dear friends, my personal childhood story. An old one:) I remember how my relatives began to discuss me and my height. Like, why is she so tall? Discuss with such a negative connotation. To which my smart, bright dad said, “But any fluff won’t cling!” :)) By “husk” I mean small men of short stature :)) And that’s all! The topic was closed :)) I never perceived my height as some kind of negative :)) I never even thought about it. I never even slouched :)) And, by the way, for some reason my height did not scare off short men :))) Which never ceased to amaze me :))) My dad was an indisputable authority for me. He was always on my side :) So, my dear readers, that childhood episode of mine, masterfully played out by my dad, can be considered as an example of the use of the “But” technique, now well known in NLP :)) In short: Minus - But - Plus! For training, you can apply this technique to simple situations. When you don’t like something, say “But” and find something you like! :)) For example, “It’s so cold today. I don’t want to freeze... But it’s so beautiful in the park and the air is so refreshing!” There was a minus, but they turned it down plus :))The example is, of course, very simplified :). +7 (916) 614-83-92
