In tragic moments, you especially feel the value of your life and the lives of your loved ones. Many seemingly important things from the point of view of the material world become unimportant. Nowadays, many of us have anxiety and negative thoughts. It is important to help yourself and your loved ones cope with anxious thoughts and give yourself resources. If everything is fine with you and your loved ones, help us find a resourceful state during this difficult time. This does not mean that one should not empathize with the victims. However, it is important to help yourself, to give internal support. 1. Don't constantly read the news. Yes, it's important to stay up to date with the latest events, but immersing yourself in an endless stream of news feeds will only increase your anxiety. Choose several trusted information sources and check the news there no more than 2 times a day. 2. Don't start your morning on your phone. Let the first hour after waking up be with yourself, with loved ones and with morning rituals that bring joy and peace. 3. When finishing your day, develop the habit of putting away your phone and other information sources at least 1 hour before bedtime. Be in the moment now. You can take a bath, brew herbal tea, watch a good movie, spend time with loved ones, read a book. 4. There is no need to put your life and your affairs on pause. Your life goes on. If there were any planned meetings or trips, then do it. Again, I repeat, this does not mean that you do not empathize with the grief of others. This means that life still goes on and the best thing you can do is continue to feel and live your life. 5. Think about how you can help yourself and create a safe and comfortable environment for yourself. Maybe it will be a meeting with loved ones or the process of preparing your favorite dish. Everyone chooses for themselves what can help them create a “safe and fulfilling” space for themselves. 6. Try to immerse yourself in this process in small ways. For example, if you decide to cook something, be in this process. Feel the smells, sensations, touches. 7. Gratitude is the best way to give yourself a resource. We have this day, our life, and despite various problems and difficulties, we continue to live. If you feel that you need psychological help and support, please contact us. In anxious moments, it is important not to plunge even deeper into your negative thoughts, but to give vent to your experiences and live them in a safe space.
