From the author: Article taken from my website If you are reading this article, then I dare to assume that the desire to acquire (or increase the level of) self-confidence is present in you. Let me ask a leading question: what does “being confident” mean to you? How do you understand this? The answer, of course, will be different for everyone: someone will say that confidence is the feeling that all one’s actions are correct, for another it may mean being good to others, or speaking in an even voice, not being afraid to take the initiative, and so on further. Imagine that this has already happened. How will you feel? How will you feel? What will you do first? In order to be sure, you need to understand very clearly what it is. Otherwise, the enormous energy from your efforts may go to waste. Take a piece of paper, divide it into two columns, in one describe the qualities of a confident person, and in the other of an unsure one. This will help you clarify as much as possible what you lack to gain confidence. What kind of person do you need to become? Cleverer? Friendlier? More attentive? More beautiful? I understand that it is difficult to analyze yourself, and it is much easier to study sites to “train” a sense of confidence, however, without understanding yourself, this can be a waste of time, effort, and sometimes money. Start with self-awareness. This is half the battle, I assure you. I want to warn you in advance - when a person radically changes something in his behavior, it brings not only good results, but also bad ones. Having become more confident in yourself, you may have to find yourself in conflict situations more often, and some of your friends may well not be ready to communicate with the “new” you; if they liked your, for example, previous timidity, now they may move away from You. You must understand this, and before determining whether you want to become more confident or not, think about the consequences. Since your internal state will inevitably affect your behavior. Having listed on a piece of paper what you lack in order to become confident (developing attention, improving memory, changing the length of your hair, a trendy suit, and so on), come up with what you will be like encourage you to move towards your goal? How to reward for even small steps in the right direction? Now, imagine that three years have passed - you are a confident person. What's going on in your life? Do you like it? I am attaching to my article several techniques for training self-confidence. But I want to say right away that if you carry them out pointlessly without analyzing the situation, their effectiveness will sharply decrease. Understand that no one can help a person change except himself. Even the smartest person on Earth can only guide you in the right direction. You are your own Sage, and no one knows better than you what you need. Techniques: Keep a notebook in which you will praise yourself. Every time before you go to bed, write down 3-5 of your actions that you are proud of today. It is clear that these will not be heroic deeds (there is no need to pull anyone out of the fire, without special training, this can end in tears!). Praise yourself, for example, for preparing a delicious dinner, washing clothes, signing a contract, writing a poem, and so on. Read the article “how to learn to love yourself” (http://psihologijaonlajn.com/2013/01/14/kak- nauchitsja-sebja-ljubit/). It is very important to accept yourself, your uniqueness and uniqueness. Use the “Active Sleep!” technique. Before going to bed, think for 5-10 minutes about what you are very afraid of? This is necessary so that during sleep you scroll through all your experiences and get rid of them! When waking up in the morning, be sure to think about your merits, what you have achieved in life, how many obstacles you have already overcome. Try to talk with those who are close to you, about their experiences. By verbalizing your fears, you get rid of them. Wish you luck! Don't be afraid of change! They are for the better!!!
