From the author: From my interview with “AiF-Yaroslavl” “We need Joan of Arc. How Yaroslavl influence the life of society”, recorded by Olga Savicheva on the eve of March 8th. Source: ... "AiF" decided to find out how Yaroslavl women live today, what concerns and worries them in the first place and what their role is in the socio-political life of the region. This is our conversation with psychologist Tatyana Rumyantseva, who works as a “doctor of human souls.” They sacrifice themselves Olga Savicheva, AiF-Yaroslavl: Tatyana Veniaminovna, tell us who most often needs the help of psychologists? And for what reasons? Tatyana Rumyantseva: Judging by my experience, about 60% of those who applied are women, 40% are men. Women are most concerned about relationships with loved ones, with their partner or husband, and conflicts in the family. In second place are experiences associated with loss or separation. Recently, literally about two years ago, there has been an increase in cases where loved ones die because of drugs. And there are more and more calls about addictions - not only drug addiction, but also alcoholic addiction. The next step is the relationship of women with their adult children. Often a son or daughter accuses their mother of not providing them with an apartment or buying a car, while others have all this! It is difficult for a woman to cope with the reproach that she is a bad mother; she is oppressed by a feeling of guilt. Another point is that it is often difficult for a mother to get along in the same apartment with her son or daughter’s family. There are a lot of such people in Yaroslavl, forced to huddle in one living space. But there is no way to separate - there is no money for separate housing, a mortgage or payment of rent. Often parents worry that their “child” has accumulated loans, and they have to pay. This is also a very painful topic. Most often, women turn to psychologists when things get really bad, when there are no more resources, and they have to sacrifice themselves. This is the problem with Yaroslavl women - they constantly sacrifice themselves. Usually this comes from the family scenario - grandmothers sacrificed themselves, then mothers, and 22-year-old girls come in a state of depression and apathy, blame themselves for everything, do not allow themselves anything “extra”. , because “they have to do it in time,” but they don’t have time and because of this they experience enormous remorse. Men don’t have this. - What are the psychological problems of Yaroslavl men? - In the first place are relationships with a wife or partner, in second place are problems of self-determination and self-realization. Men worry that for some reason life has become less interesting, but they want there to be some drive. It is important for them to find themselves, to determine a goal that would inspire - these are men’s needs. Poverty has a “female face” - Can we say that poverty in our region has a “female face”? - Men really have more opportunities to earn money. In the last year, the number of women who cannot get a job has increased significantly in Yaroslavl. Moreover, with higher education, high qualifications, they themselves are very nice. Why don’t they hire? Age 28 - 30, which means she will go on maternity leave. At the interview they ask: why not married? This worries employers, and some even scare them away. And if a woman has children of preschool and school age, then she will go on sick leave with them. Male managers prefer to see men as their deputies, and again hire representatives of the stronger sex for leadership positions, despite the fact that according to their achievements, they may be at a lower level than representatives of the weak. And women are forced to take on heavy workloads for little money, they endure until the last. Hence, they often experience emotional burnout, when it gets to the point of nausea, and the legs can’t move, and the woman simply begins to fall into some kind of painful state. By the way, this is typical only for women, men do not suffer from this. You must be a “man” - But at the same time, in your opinion, Yaroslavl people know how to work? - Of course, and to the fullest! Remember how Nekrasov did? “He will stop a galloping horse and enter a burning hut” - this can definitely be said about".
