To begin with, you should observe your feelings without judgment and explore the state that is commonly called envy. Using envy as a signal to determine your own desires and goals will help when you envy others achievements, possessions or relationships. This may be a sign that you want it yourself. By recognizing your envy and understanding what you truly desire, you can take steps to achieve those goals and work toward realizing them. Another way to turn envy into a positive force is through admiration and imitation. Instead of being resentful or envious of those who have something we want, we can admire them and learn from them. By observing and studying the behavior and characteristics of those we admire, we can identify the traits and skills that contribute to their success and try to incorporate them into our lives. However, without proper attention to ourselves, envy can turn into competition with others. The way to express this feeling through destructive behavior like sabotage, gossip and even violence seems simple and clear. But if you direct envy exclusively at the object that provokes it, such behavior can turn into an obsession, leading to chronic dissatisfaction. If you want to direct energy to a specific person who makes you envy, in the form of gossip, harm, ignoring, etc. p.Ask yourself the question: “Why am I doing this?”, “What will this give me?”, “What will be the consequences of my actions.” And try to imagine the development of events in different scenarios depending on what you do or don’t you will do it. Vipassana-type meditation will also help you understand the underlying causes of envy. This practice will allow you to become more aware of your thoughts and reactions, which will help you develop awareness and emotional stability. In conclusion, feelings of envy are a normal and natural part of the human experience. While envy can be unpleasant and even painful, it can also be a powerful motivator that inspires you to achieve goals and improve your quality of life. To channel envy in a positive direction, you need to shift your attention from what you lack to what you can do to improve your situation.
