The definition of “Indigo Children” was first given by the psychic and psychologist Nancy Ann Tapp. Medical studies of indigo children have not revealed any deviations from the norm, except for one thing: indigo does not use 6-7% of brain resources, like all people, but 12-14%. These children express themselves very brightly, here we are not talking about clothes and appearance, indigo is distinguished by its very being. They are characterized by a specific internal gaze, when it seems that the interlocutor is not present during the conversation, but looks inside himself, practically without reacting to the world around him. He sees you, although he does not look you in the eyes. He sees your inner essence, your appearance is not important to him. Many indigos isolate themselves from society and live in their own world, into which they only allow a select few or their own kind. Next to their peers, they are withdrawn and take the position of an observer from the outside - it’s easier for them to live, because ordinary children are often not able to understand them. One of the characteristic features of indigo is a freedom-loving disposition. These children rarely recognize authority, do not tolerate any pressure on their personality, actively protest and do not obey public opinion. For the most part, indigo children are born philosophers. They have a colossal stock of different ideas, they have very deep thoughts about various phenomena of life. In regular schools they face many problems. Indigos conflict with the modern education system (and with their peers) when it crushes them and puts them in a subordinate position. Such children may tell the teacher that they are being taught incorrectly. Researchers have noticed that almost all indigo children have the following characteristics: They talk about the existence of the subtle world and focus on spirituality; They have paranormal abilities (clairvoyance, telepathy, etc.) They have some kind of talent (artistic, poetic, etc.) They have high level of intuition.
