It is developing interestingly both from the point of view of individual psychology (after all, we ourselves change a little, adapting to new ways of communication), and from the point of view of the psychology of society. I remember what the Internet was like in the early 2000s. This was the realm of forums. Forums were created based on interests, people found each other if they liked common trends in books, music, and other hobbies. There were few people on the Internet then, there were no influencers at all - everyone communicated as equals. The moderators of the discussion platforms were slightly more equal than the others, because they set the rules of communication. At the same time, the ICQ messenger “reigned”. These unforgettable sounds and colors...Then social networks appeared. Online daffodils blossomed in full bloom, one more beautiful than the other, and a culture of influencers began to develop. All active users have created pages for themselves on Odnoklassniki, VKontakte and a couple of now banned networks. They flaunted different statuses and vacation photos to each other. It still looked fresh)) Sonets haven’t gone away, but the hype, in my opinion, has passed, especially in connection with recent events, when many popular bloggers have lost their audience and/or their usual way of life. What do we have now? In my opinion, the new stage is mass self-expression through journalism. Content is created in huge quantities for reading by a wide audience, not just the “inner circle” who are interested in looking at the photos of their friend. People who write texts, shoot videos, make reports, edit videos - these are not “stars” and most often not professionals, these are those whom we meet every day on the street. They share not only and not so much the events of their lives, but their thoughts, what interests them. And let us note that these are not fictional plots, this is real life, one or another of its facets. Exactly what is called PUBLISHING (from the Latin publicus - public) - a type of literary work designed for the mass reader and addressed to current socio-political issues. Which stage of the development of Internet communication have I forgotten? And what do you think the next one will look like? stage?
