Imagine that you bought yourself something that you have wanted for a long time. How long will happiness last? Perhaps not as long as the anticipation itself. You may be a bit disappointed. Because happiness is not the end point, once it is reached, life is transformed, all problems go away, peace comes in the whole world and eternal nirvana covers. Satiety is happiness, but satiety is fraught with satiety, lack of hunger and time to digest all that happiness , what we managed to fit into ourselves. Getting enough sleep and feeling refreshed is a moment of happiness, which every day is replaced by fatigue or the inability to sleep. A moment of happiness is the satisfaction of a need, a peak, after which there will most likely be a decline. After all, after satisfying a need, according to Buddhist wisdom, there comes a moment of suffering. And then the emergence of a new need and suffering from dissatisfaction. Even from people close to us, sometimes we want to take a break and be alone. And most often, we probably get tired of ourselves. Although sometimes it seems like happiness to be alone with yourself, there is another moment in the subjective understanding of happiness that can be consciously extended. The moment when the goal approaches, but is not satisfied. That moment that precedes the peak. This can be a moment of trial, error and understanding how to do it right. This may be a moment of choice and awareness of what is needed to satisfy the need. This may be a small completed task that brings you closer to your goal, but is not its final achievement. Now imagine that your whole life consists of such moments. Any achieved goal opens a new horizon. Any failure is a reduction in the likelihood of making a mistake again. A state of fatigue is a sign of hard work in the past, and therefore progress. There are no negative experiences, just experiences. Experience that makes us smarter, more careful and careful with ourselves and our resources. Do you agree that sometimes it’s more pleasant to fight for a prize than to have it?
