A wonderful approach - fairy tale therapy, I recently managed to get to know him better. And metaphorical cards are also an excellent tool in the hands of a psychologist. Let's combine them in counseling. Today the technique is based on a consultation, I post photographs with the client’s permission.1. Remember in what situation you now feel like the Ugly Duckling - out of place, strange, rejected, alien. How do you feel in this situation, how do you act? Take out, out in the open, sorting through the pictures from the story deck, a card that symbolizes this situation for you.2. Now take out cards, also openly from the portrait deck, symbolizing those people who in this situation attack you, persecute you or hurt you with their indifference. You probably know whose images you will be looking for, but also pay attention to those whose images will offend you, seem critical, condemning, even if you do not imagine who it could be in this situation. Perhaps some past stories from your life resonate now. Suppose you have selected eight portraits.3. And now from the resource deck into the closed one we will take resource cards; there will be the same number of cards as you found people in the previous step, plus one. We had eight portraits, which means that now we will open nine cards. Let's turn the cards over and use them to look for resources, relying on the plot of the fairy tale, but not limiting ourselves to it. Questions to help: What qualities of mine will help me cope with the situation? What actions will benefit me now? What should I learn now? Who can I turn to for help (The Duckling didn’t really ask for help, but he is a bird and from a fairy tale, and we are people and from the real world)? Who is unlikely to help with a concrete deed, but can warm your soul with warmth, sympathize, and console? What people are my swan flock, who inspires me? Where should I rely on the natural course of events and give my wings time to grow? What more can I turn to for support - can I find support in Faith, spirituality, belonging to my Family?4. Let's take three more cards from the universal deck face down. With their help, we will answer the questions: What else is important for me to understand in this situation? What lesson can I learn from this situation? What is the first step I should take, what can I do now? Good luck to you in your endeavors, inspiration and big strong wings!
