All people remember what happened to them many times better if the action or objects receive an emotional connotation. That is why people remember some events very well, while others, on the contrary, have blurry outlines. In other words, people perceive information better if it is supported by some kind of experience. The focus of attention is fixed to a greater extent on those events that are significant emotionally. Everything would be just wonderful if a person encountered only positive and pleasant situations in life. But, quite often, unpleasant events occur, to put it mildly. A person, using the same model of perception of events, begins to experience it emotionally. Think and ask yourself often unnecessary questions: “Why did this happen to me?”, “How did this happen?” The list of these questions can be continued for a long time; a person fixes his attention only on the negative. It is precisely in emotions and attention that the whole problem lies. Indeed, in essence, thinking is nothing more than asking questions and searching for answers to them, which /answers/, in turn, suit a person’s beliefs. Here is a recipe for driving yourself into an extremely dangerous state of unhappiness and blues. Try to be as emotional and attentive as possible to any negative or unpleasant situation /it doesn’t matter whether it’s a big or small trouble, the main thing is the right attitude/. Imagine everything that is happening in great detail, every detail and little thing must be deeply felt, intensify the negativity by also saying that what happened does not fit into your beliefs at all. And you know for sure that this simply cannot happen. If these conditions are met, you are guaranteed a disgusting state of mind. To avoid completely unnecessary frustrations, it is sometimes necessary to change the direction of attention and, for example, ask yourself the question “What did this teach me?”, the advantage is that through this question you will change your beliefs, expanding them. You need to master the skill of crossing out something from your consciousness, meaningfully. After all, people do this all the time, no one remembers all the cars that pass by him during the day, because he does not pay attention to them and does not worry about it. Live with joy!
