Sometimes we miss important details of our condition, important signs that our psyche is trying to tell us. They talk about increasing stress and increasing exhaustion. Often, increased irritability appears first. First of all, the inhibitory nervous system is depleted. There is still enough strength to cope with irritation, but there is no longer enough strength to slow down and restrain it. Gradually, our psyche begins to save itself. She protects by trying to narrow our communication. Social contacts begin to be lost; there is no longer enough strength and desire to meet with friends, or find time for usual activities. Those that seem to be not very important to us. Our interests are beginning to gradually narrow. If, at the same time, we remain active at work, in those matters that we consider important, but they require our increased attention and, accordingly, take up a lot of resources, the circle closes and we continue to become exhausted. As a result, you may feel unwilling to do even routine tasks. What seemed familiar: washing dishes, paying bills, answering SMS, making a phone call becomes difficult to do. Fatigue increases. Procrastination begins to mount. We are increasingly inclined to put things off until the last minute, and only when it is no longer possible to put off an important task do we do it. This leads to the fact that the level of anxiety also increases, and there is not enough strength to complete it on time. Deterioration of sleep during this period is also a symptom that interferes with recovery processes. The work gets done more and more slowly, and you have to do it while reducing the amount of sleep. At the same time, drowsiness may appear during the day, and the need to sleep longer and longer. Even despite prolonged sleep, I have no strength in the morning and my appetite decreases. It is important to recognize this funnel of exhaustion in a timely manner and, if you cannot change your condition on your own, seek help.
