In many shamanic societies, if you came to a shaman or healer complaining that you were frustrated, discouraged, or depressed, they would ask you one of four questions: - When have you stopped dancing? - When did you stop singing? - When did stories stop captivating and enchanting you? - When did pleasant silence cease to be comfortable for you? Where we stop dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories or enjoying silence is where we experience soul loss.
