You will certainly find yourself in one of these points. And, most likely, you will feel irritated. But don’t close the article right away, but think: what if it’s true? What if your life is truly a waste?1. Spend all your free time on meaningless things: surfing the Internet, social networks, computer games, reality shows and unnecessary TV programs, chatting on the phone. You can doze off, review the news several times and actively discuss it in the comments. In 15 years there will be other interesting news, games and shows. Nothing will change in your life. You claim that you don’t have time for what you love. Does that mean there is access to the Internet and TV?2. Complain and never change anything in your life. Complain as much as possible, practice every day. Complain about your health, your husband, your children, your job. But don't do anything to change anything. Don't listen to the advice that others give you. You don't need advice, but sympathy. You are not going to change anything in your life. They don’t know that your goal is to live your life completely in vain. Surround yourself with the same complainers. It will be very convenient for you to complain and feel sorry for each other every day.3. Dream. Make wishes for the New Year and birthday, pray, visualize. And never do anything to make them happen. This is not interesting! Expect a miracle. One day something will happen and your whole life will magically change. At 60 you will understand that a miracle did not happen. And you wasted your life completely in vain. If you really want to be disappointed, make wishes, the fulfillment of which does not depend on you.4. Never dream. This is silly. I ate, slept, bought potatoes, discussed prices, watched TV, yawned, scratched myself, looked at my VKontakte page. Everyone who devotes their life to some lofty dreams is a fool. By the way, don’t be confused by the fact that among the “fools” are famous inventors, for example, the Wright brothers. They dreamed of flying. And with this dream their whole life’s work began. The dream may not be global, but it is high, first of all, for you. Tall means beautiful, interesting, devoid of routine.5. Put off your plans and dreams for later. If you're planning to write a great book, don't start right away. After all, today you are very tired, you have a lot to do. And the idea has not yet been formed. Let the piece of paper with the outline of the plot lie on the table for now. In 20 years you will find this piece of paper among the unnecessary waste paper. But the book will never be written. Usually things are postponed for two reasons: no time, no money. Both are far-fetched.6. Start new things and leave them unfinished. In 15 years, you will have half-drawn drawings, an unfinished book, an unknitted sweater, unfinished renovations and... a life lived completely in vain. If you have a habit of not finishing things, start small. Be attentive to yourself: you do not abandon the project immediately, but first put it off for later. This “later” never comes.7. Spray yourself! You are overwhelmed with dreams and plans. Do them all! Write ten books, learn six languages, run three successful blogs, play four sports and dance, play the cello great, travel a lot. At the same time, make a brilliant career and give birth to five children. What awaits you in 20 years? One unfinished book, beginner-level English, three abandoned blogs, tennis rackets gathering dust in the storage room, ballroom dancing shoes and an old guitar without strings. And one child. And a life lived in vain. Did you think it was rubber, or what? Do you want to become a professional? You will have to choose one or three activities and devote your life to them.8. If you have tried to accomplish or change something in your life and failed, never try again. Eke out a hopeless existence and complain, complain endlessly. Be sure to stop those who want to try something you are not successful at. Break off their wings. And then suddenly they will fly up andwill show you that it is possible. Then you will understand that you have lived your life completely in vain. After each failure, analyze your mistakes and, taking into account the experience gained, try again. Try again and again. Again and again. I don't care if you failed again! Try again!9. Try to break through a stone wall with your forehead. Don't change your tactics on the way to your goal. Don't look for new ways. So what if you haven’t moved a single step in ten years? Someday it will work out. It's impossible for so much effort and time to go to waste. Don't expect immediate results. But if there is no result for a long time, you should think about it. You may be doing something wrong. Or this method of achieving what you want does not suit you and you need to look for another. 10. Wait for a brilliant IDEA to come into your head. One day you will take a bath like Archimedes and suddenly understand how to help people around the world live better lives. Or you will make a great discovery, come up with the plot of a popular bestseller. The IDEA should come on its own, without effort on your part. And so you live day after day, doing nothing and not noticing how IDEAS unsuccessfully knock on your door every day. And they seem to you either difficult to implement or ridiculous. Learn to notice and write down all the ideas that come to you during the day, especially ridiculous and difficult to implement. Re-read them with the question: “Why not? What if we try?” By the way, brilliant ideas came to scientists and writers after prolonged brain strain. Before Mendeleev dreamed of the table, he tried for a long time to come up with one without success.11. Look for a way to achieve everything without difficulty. Learn English in a week, lose fifteen kilograms in fourteen days, become Schwarzenegger from a skinny student in a few months, get fabulously rich in a year. Try one miracle method after another. Why do some stupid people spend years pursuing these same goals? Rest assured that everything can be achieved faster and easier. The main thing is to find that “magic pill.” There is no “magic pill.”12. From your youth, strive to make your life as stable as possible. Throw crazy dreams out of your head. Choose a profession that is in high demand and pays well. You'll work 9 to 7, six days a week, at a job you hate. In 30 years, your life will be stable, prosperous and... empty. You cannot predict whether there will be a demand for your profession in 10 years. In one town, everyone was trying to get a job at a punch card factory, because working there was incredibly prestigious. It seemed that punch cards were the future. With the development of technology, the factory closed and all the workers were fired.13. Always do what your parents want. Live like “all normal people” live. Let someone decide for you who to study, who to marry, when to have children. Also, do everything as your friends do. Everyone smokes - and you smoke. They don't run in the morning - and you don't run. It's easier to live this way. Why go against the grain, endure misunderstanding and ridicule? At 50 you will have a job you hate; the husband you never loved; children you gave birth to only because “mom wanted grandchildren”; dreams put off until later. A life wasted. And nothing can be changed. Parents may be right because they have more life experience. But they, like all people, can make mistakes. Parents want you to be happy, but they don’t always understand what happiness will be for you. Therefore, take their advice carefully. If everyone did what their parents want, we wouldn’t have many great actors, singers, artists, and designers. They would all work as accountants, dentists and lawyers.14. Be very respectable and serious. Never fool around, do unexpected and stupid things, don’t buy unnecessary but attractive things. Be very practical. Let your inner child finally wither and die. And with it the taste forlife. Condemn people who are not as serious as you. This will make you feel a little better.15. Don't be interested in things that have no practical use. Why learn Italian if you don't need it for work? Well, you learn it, and what next? Who will you talk to? A waste of time. Learn to draw? Stupid. After all, you are unlikely to become a famous artist. Then why is this? So what, what's interesting? After all, your main task is to live your life in vain. One day, at the first free lesson of a drawing course, a young man appeared who immediately began to wonder whether it was possible to earn money from drawing and how much. When he learned that there was no income to be expected from this activity, at least in the near future, he became indignant: “So what’s the point of spending time and money on this?” And he didn’t show up for lessons again.16. Do everything the way you've always done it. Take the same route to work. Cook the same dishes. Holiday on the same beach year after year. If you haven’t been to master classes or concerts before, don’t do it under any circumstances. Trying something new is always a risk. Never take risks. Let your life be completely predictable, even if it is boring. Reasonable risk, new experiences are exciting, memorable, and open up new horizons. Why do you need this? After all, you are about to live your life in vain. Repeat the phrase: “Everyone lives like this.” 17. Under no circumstances learn anything new. You've had enough of school and college. And in general, at your age it’s too late to study. By the way, it also looks very stupid when such a respectable person takes the first clumsy steps in a new activity for him. Let your brain gradually dry out and degrade. And along with its freshness, youth and... life go away. Study only if they promise you some “cookies” in return: a diploma, a promotion, etc.18. Don't improve anything in your life. Don't try to keep up with the times. Both at work and at home, do everything as you are used to. Ten years, twenty, thirty. Why master new technologies? What if this will make your work more efficient and easier, and open up new opportunities for you? Why would a person who decided to live his life in vain need this? If some people from the beginning of time had not sought to improve and make our lives easier, we would still be digging the ground with our hands in search of edible roots. And people like you would be fine with that.19. Live for your children. Live them, breathe them. Forget about the fact that since childhood you dreamed of traveling or singing. Now we need to live only for Olenka. There is no longer “I”, there is only “we”. We ate, we went to first grade, we entered college. When Olenka leaves your home forever and lives on her own, you will be too scared to look at your life. It turns out that there is no “we”. Olenka doesn't need you anymore. Although... There are still grandchildren. If Olenka has children. And if he doesn’t leave for another city or country. And if it allows you to spend time with them. Otherwise, you will still have to drag out your empty life alone. But this is what you were going for, wasn’t it? Otherwise, why did you betray your dreams? You can try to tie Olenka to you with a feeling of guilt: “Because of you, I gave up a promising job; I worked three jobs; I didn’t get married; I denied myself everything, and you...” And what does she have to do with it? ? She didn't ask you to do this.20. Postpone communication with family and friends until tomorrow. Your daughter asks you to read her a fairy tale. But you finish the report. Not today. Better tomorrow. Or on the weekend - I promise that we will spend the whole day together. In ten years you will realize that the child has become a stranger to you. And don't call your parents today. Better tomorrow... If they are still alive. Tomorrow you won’t call your parents either. And the day after tomorrow. So you can not call or see them for months and years. Until you are invited to the funeral.21. Live in the future. Set yourself a GOAL and sacrifice your whole life to achieve it. When you get what you dreamed of, then you will truly live. And now... Is this life? But... What if you!
