When people are asked what they dream about, many talk about the state of HAPPINESS. For each of us it is different. But everyone experiences approximately a similar set of feelings, emotions and sensations. A joyful state, you are happy, you accomplished something or you hugged a loved one, you feel warm, you feel comfortable, you feel good. You are proud of your achievements, you feel appreciated, valued, and needed. You are in harmony, looking into the future with interest and curiosity, isn’t it great? Agree, being in this state you feel that you are ready for even greater achievements, greater discoveries! Some people think that happiness is like a butterfly that accidentally lands on your palm, and this does not happen as often as we would like. Others are sure that being happy is the same skill as, for example, being punctual. This is a skill that needs to be cultivated, trained, and consciously implemented into your life so that such moments happen more often and last longer. I am glad to share with you the “keys” on the path to a conscious state of happiness: What is happiness for you? Start by understanding what makes you feel happy. Remember, everyone has their own. Be alone with yourself, in silence, or with pleasant music. Pour some tea, take a notepad, write down the brightest moments of your state of happiness. Think more broadly. Please do not limit yourself to large-scale and fateful episodes: the birth of children, long-awaited purchases, travel, of course, this will be on the list. A feeling of happiness can be brought by completely different things that surround you in everyday life, you just need to pay attention to it, you need to be able to feel, understand that this feeling is for you and be able to revive it in yourself. Happiness is not only, and not so much tied to the material world , learn to be happy without being tied to the monetary, this will give you incredible freedom. Remember everything, the sound of the sea, the singing of birds, a conversation with a close friend, watching your favorite movie, waking up on your own without an alarm clock and feeling the strength and joy of a new day is also happiness. I am sure that while you are making a list, you will also feel happiness, because good memories from the past make us happy. Repeat and reinforce. Understanding what brings you happiness, consciously reward yourself with these moments more often. Not everything will work, indeed, happiness is multidimensional, sometimes repeating “same restaurant, same dessert” may not produce the same effect, but believe me, having studied yourself, you will have a whole set of “keys” in your arsenal on how to make yourself happier . This state will be natural and manageable for you. The power of optimism. There have been many studies showing that optimists are much happier. If you cannot yet count yourself among them, I recommend the book “How to Learn to Be Optimistic” by Martin Seligman. When you look into the future with confidence in positive prospects, full of love for life and vigor - you are happy. Become optimists! Change your attitude towards the past. Often the flow of happiness is blocked by pictures from the past, as if sad, painful, difficult. From time to time they may come to mind. Your task is to live, forgive yourself, accept the past. After all, even negative events lead to something more important for us. You’ve worked through it, let it go and don’t remember. Of course, this is not an exercise for one evening, but it is quite doable if you set a goal. Your task is to remember the good things! What we already did at the very beginning, remember how much energy it gave you, I’m sure you smiled! Happy people, like lanterns, illuminate our world with their light, let there be more such people. I wish each of you that butterflies will come to you more often, literally at your request!
