It’s like you’re burying yourself. Previously, it was believed that only those who work with people, in difficult and emotional work, burn out. But recent research shows it's more complicated than that. This process is influenced by various factors: long working hours, busy schedules, heavy workloads, conflicts and tension in the team, low pay and devaluation of labor, discomfort in the workplace, unloved work. Everything is complicated by low self-esteem, excessive demands on oneself, limiting beliefs, pressure from society or authority (for example, a boss), a difficult financial situation, perfectionism, attempts to keep everything under control, and so on. Gradually, other areas of life are crowded out and the person finds himself in a trap. He doesn’t see the opportunity to get out of this state, but he can’t bear it either.
