You can replace one need with another for a long time and not even understand what you are doing. For example food. An important topic in the lives of many. You can silence anger, fatigue, joy, anxiety, resentment, envy, disappointment, sadness with food. You can reward and punish with food. Give the right to life or vice versa. Here is the parent. He calls the child for dinner for a long time. He's pulling. Or maybe he just doesn’t listen, or does something for which he is punished - lack of food. In his mind, the parent gives the child the opportunity to think and realize his action. Food is a primary need. And in the mind of the child, the parent takes his life. And the other person is worried, anxious before some event and says to himself - if everything goes well, then I will buy a cake and eat it. Everything is fine - cake. Then again anxiety and again cake. Food, food, food...becomes a means of relieving anxiety. Fatigue. Let's take maternal fatigue. I already wrote that people are rushing to work after maternity leave. Why? Yes, because there is lunch, vacation, evening and night for sleep. There is nothing like that in the maternity leave. Mother, she is a mother 24/7. Vacations and weekends are not provided. She will sleep when the baby sleeps, but that too depends on your luck. Therefore, the sleep deficit there is always colossal. Going to the shower or toilet is also a luxury. Eating on the go, often without understanding what and how much was eaten and whether I ate today. Gradually, everything can become so confused that food replaces sleep, interests, care, etc. The child grows up, but automatism works as usual. Some are lucky, and there is a realization that food is not the solution. I know a case when, lacking sleep, I drank coffee with something tasty for a long time. And then, the body began to give another signal of fatigue. Coffee + tasty food = nausea. And then just a total disgust from any food. The most difficult question was - what do you want. Because even banal needs were mixed up and frozen. Housing and communal services showed the norm. And your health improved when your sleep improved. According to the usual pattern, you can slip back into your favorite scenario. But that is another story. The main thing is to realize what you really want. Lavier Anna
