Hysteria... Is there a way out?🤔Children's hysteria is an unpleasant and unpredictable phenomenon that every parent has encountered at least once. Screaming, crying, whining, “snot bubbles”, lying on the floor and all this in a crowded place! 😬What is the peculiarity of this phenomenon? Its peculiarity is that children's hysteria instantly infuriates even the most loving parents. How can we, as loving and caring parents, cope without hurting our child’s feelings? 🙌First of all, try to describe your child’s feelings. Children do not always understand what is happening to them; they cannot be aware of the feelings they experience and even less can control these feelings. Therefore, it is very important to help your child understand his feelings. Say calmly: “Are you angry now because you need to go to bed, but you still want to play?” The child will be able to understand his feelings and, importantly, he will know how well you understand him! Secondly, show complete indifference and calm. I know how difficult it is! And a guy from the crowd also gives you good advice: “Yes, hit him in the ass!” BUT... If you are demonstratively calm and do not react in any way to a child’s hysteria, it will be much better than if you start screaming. After all, all the child needs is to attract your attention and “make you feel.” As soon as you became emotionally involved in a situation, no matter good or bad, you reinforced the child’s behavior. Now he will continue to whine like that ☝ And finally, join your efforts with your child in overcoming the hysteria. At this moment, the child cannot cope with his emotions. He experiences intense emotional stress, and is not simply trying to achieve his goal. You can come up with a funny name for what is happening to your child. When I was a child, my mother told me, “The evil bulls have come at you again.” And this little bit of humor somehow immediately resonated with me with kindness and calm. And I saw in my mother not an evil enemy, but a friend who understands me 🤗How do you deal with children's tantrums? I'd really like to know)
