From the author: Every day we make decisions. What is the basis for making a decision? What starting point influences our decision making? We build our lives based on our ideas of what we would like in this life. How it should be arranged. Do we want children, what kind of job do we want, housing, what should happen in our lives every day, every week, month and year. We have an idea of who we want to associate with, who we want to live with, and who we want to love. Every day we take actions in accordance with these ideas. At the basis of any decision there is a starting point, which subsequently influences what decision we make. This point has an impact regardless of the area in which we make a decision - professional or personal. For example, we choose a profession for ourselves, determine an educational institution where we can get an education and subsequently find a job. And here, everything seems to be clear. There is an idea, there are actions and there is a result. But what the result will be depends on the starting point, that is, on the point at which we make a decision. There may be several such points, but the main ones are the following: - I make a decision with my mind - I make a decision with your heart When you make a decision with your mind, you select a job that can bring a lot of money, which will be prestigious, in which you can make career growth, and so on. In other words, you think in accordance with social norms or standards established in society. In another version, you make a decision with your heart and choose a job that you like, choose something that you would like to do that brings you joy. Such a job may not be profitable, it may not have prestige in society (although options are possible), but it is where your soul lies. Both options have a right to exist. The question is not which one will be correct. The question is to understand the starting point of decision making. If you understand how you make a decision, you won't regret it later. At any point in your life, you can stop and make a different decision..
