It seems like I didn’t do anything special, but I’m squeezed like a lemon. Is this a familiar state? The Internet is full of information on the topic of energy loss and most of it describes this phenomenon as the influence of otherworldly forces, polluted chakras and other mystical reasons that cannot be verified. But everything is much simpler. A person himself wastes his strength and does it, as a rule, unconsciously. In general, there are quite a lot of ways to leak; in this article I will look at some of the most common ones - emotional experiences and internal dialogues. Emotional experiences Anxiety, fears, grievances, guilt, anger... Emotions are the most powerful source of energy drain. Whether you regret the past, worry about the future, or feel angry in the present, know that at this moment you have your finger on the drain button. I'm not saying that emotions are not important; on the contrary, they signal to us what is wrong. And our task is not only to catch these signals, but also to begin to act, otherwise we will only lose. Internal dialogues Observe yourself - what kind of internal dialogues do you have, what are they about, what and to whom are you trying to prove, to whom to justify yourself? These dialogues also take a lot of effort; moreover, they also touch on emotions that may be present in the background and not recognized (very often this is how anxiety lives in us). So how to stop draining your energy? You need to become aware of your experiences and/or internal dialogues - what am I feeling now, what am I thinking about, what are my thoughts and emotions directed towards, what is the essence of the problem? Ask yourself a question: how do these emotions/thoughts help me solve this problem? As a rule, excessive emotions and rumination (scrolling, chewing the same thoughts, dialogues), on the contrary, interfere with achieving goals. Ask yourself the following question: what exactly can I do to resolve this situation? It is advisable that this be a clear action plan. As soon as you direct yourself in a constructive direction, you will immediately begin to receive energy to solve the problem. It seems so simple, but it takes practice.
