Each of us can create the best version of ourselves, at any age, regardless of innate and acquired character traits, knowledge, skills and abilities. What is the best version of ourselves? In my opinion, this is a happy, healthy, self-confident person, loving and loved. Confidence is a firm belief in one’s own strengths and capabilities of the mind, soul and body. And confidence is freedom from any kind of doubt. Confidence consists of 3 components: 1. Basic condition (internal comfort); 2. Positive life experience;3. Beliefs (about your uniqueness, potential, personal resources, etc.). Based on the above, we can highlight the following steps to creating a better version of yourself: 1. Transformation of the basic state. At this stage, at the point here and now, we figure out what is “ok” and what is “not ok”: - How do I feel in the company of loved ones? - How do I feel in the company of my loved one? - How do I feel in a professional environment? - How do I feel among strangers? - How do I feel alone with myself? If the answers to some or all points are not satisfactory, there is something to work on! If there is discomfort at this stage the following actions are necessary: ​​- Analysis of loved ones and not close ones. Limit communication with those who constantly complain, criticize, humiliate. - Analysis of relationships with a loved one. What is missing to a state of comfort? Dialogue, compromises, filling the relationship with what is missing. Analysis of professional activity. - What kind of professional am I? How do I build professional relationships? Self-management.- Adaptation analysis. If it’s hard with strangers, you need to ask yourself the question, what about trust in the world? And what about the sense of conscience? You can make a list of actions that have tormented you all these years. Try to decide: ask for forgiveness from those you offended, pay off old debts. Charity.- Self-analysis. Ask yourself questions: what worries and causes fear, why is there no peace in the soul? When did it start? What could trigger the alarm? It is better to decide with the help of a psychologist.2. Transformation of life experiences. We cannot change our past, but we can re-evaluate it based on achievements, victories, periods of happiness, as well as valuable life lessons that have changed you qualitatively. You can make a list of teachers who influenced your personal growth.3. Transformation of beliefs. Make a list of beliefs that help you move forward, as well as those that hinder development. From positive beliefs, as well as from those that you would like to embed in the subconscious and consciousness, create affirmations in the present tense on your own behalf, without using the particle “not”.
