From the author: The unconscious, the power of thought Many years ago, the unconscious was considered a deviation of the psyche and was attributed to the mentally ill, but today there is evidence that this part of us takes a daily part in everyone’s life. The brain is one of the most unstudied human organs. And this despite the fact that its processes began to be studied by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks, and one of the first works on the brain was written by Hippocrates. It is in this part of the body that the most mysterious area of human life lies - the unconscious. Uncle Freud himself proved that absolutely everyone living on earth has an unconscious part of the psyche. I once heard that 2-5% of thinking is occupied by the conscious and 95-98% (!) is occupied by the unconscious. Now can you guess why it is sometimes so difficult to get rid of bad thoughts or bad habits? Every 3 seconds the unconscious records all the events of our life. Somewhere in the back of our minds, so-called “files” are stored with absolutely all the information about us. If a person is hypnotized, he will remember what pants he was wearing on a certain day and time many years ago. Now do you understand why it is important to learn to transform a negative attitude into a positive one and why it is so difficult to get rid of grievances? It has long been established that all actions, emotions, experiences and worries originate precisely in the unconscious; it is this that influences the simple and complex decisions of absolutely each of us. Thus, a person can be constantly haunted by failures in love or at work only because, far in the subconscious, he is afraid of becoming happy or suffers from the negative experience of previous relationships. It may seem to you that the mistakes of the past are forgotten and passed and there seems to be nothing to worry about, but as soon as a similar situation or some painfully familiar associative series arises in front of you, then the subconscious will immediately take out an old, dusty file and call, it would seem , a forgotten feeling. Often, it's the very things you work long and hard to eradicate from your head that are preventing you from moving forward in a particular area of your life. An example of the manifestation of unconscious actions can be driving a car - we don’t think about which pedal we press or which direction we turn the steering wheel, we just drive the car and think about the day at hand. Also, a vivid manifestation of the unconscious appears in “Freudian slips”, when in a conversation we utter a word that we did not want to utter, but were kept on the old shelf of the unconscious, when, during communication, the husband calls his wife by another female name (a couple of times I witnessed such a situation - oh, and the men got it). This is how the most mysterious part of us influences our lives. When you know this, you realize that you can do incredible things with your life. You can bring the thought of recovery to automaticity and program yourself for the result; you can make yourself successful, famous, etc. with the right flow of thoughts. So now that you know how our unconscious influences the past, future and present, you can safely adjust or build your life the way you want! We discuss this and many other interesting things at the training on November 5th “Labyrinths of your Self”"".
