From the author: The proposed test will help you understand how long your suffering will continue. The test is almost serious, as it allows you to additionally measure the degree of personal readiness for change. The theme of suffering runs through our lives like a red thread. You don’t have to accept them, asking the question “why did I have such a difficult fate?”, or, on the contrary, you can find in them motivation for further growth and development. When faced with difficulties that bring discomfort, someone will ask, as stated above , “for what?”, and someone will try to find a deeper meaning in them, thinking “for what?” troubles and torment have appeared in life. However, both of them are no less interested in when all this suffering will end. Below is an almost serious test that allows you to answer such a seemingly difficult question. Answers A will bring 1 point, B – 2 points, C – 3 points. Question 1. Do you often think that “it’s finally time to change something”? A. Very rarelyB. Happens sometimesB. They haunt me constantly Question 2. Do you ever have the feeling that you are literally filled with the desire to change everything due to this suffering and discomfort?A. Happens once a monthB. Visits periodically every week. I feel this every day Question 3. Does it seem to you that there is no end to this suffering and that nothing can be done about it?A. Yes, that's exactly what it seems like B. There are periods when V “let go.” I don’t know why, but it seems to me that all these difficulties are completely surmountable Question 4. Let’s assume that there is some kind of plan for getting out of the uncomfortable state in which you find yourself. What do you think of him?A. Even if such a plan existed, it would be incredibly difficult for me. Most likely there is such a plan, but I need someone who will explain to me in detail what to do. Of course, there is an exit plan, and there is nothing supernatural in it, you just need to gather your strength and do Question 5. An exit plan is, of course, good... But is it within my power? (which answer will be closer to you) A. It seems to me that you need to be a genius in order to implement all this. It is possible that everything will work out, but you will have to work very hard for this. This is not the first time I have encountered difficulties! The main thing is that there is a plan - we will break through! Question 6. There is an opinion that the suffering that befalls a person is his destiny. How do you feel about this point of view?A. This is how it is, and nothing can be done about it, otherwise everything will only get worse. It happens that life is treated unfairly, for example, as it is now... It seems that not having suffering at all would not be entirely deserved for me. I probably won’t agree with this, because somewhere inside there is a hope that I deserve better. Question 7. Let’s say that you can cope with what torments and stresses you... But then what? A. I don’t even know... Probably something will improve, but I really can’t say what. It seems like it should get better, but there are a couple of points...B. Life will become noticeably easier, I know it. Now count the number of points and you can move on to the results. 7-11 points. Apparently, suffering means a little more to you than to most people. You consider them an integral part of life, and sometimes you plunge into them headlong. When you ask the question “when will my suffering end?”, deep in your soul you already know the answer. And here it is difficult to convince you that you can someday put an end to all this torment. Examples of people who succeeded are unlikely to inspire you, because you are sure that all these lucky people were just lucky. The answer to the main question of the test can be given as “not soon.” 12-17 points. You begin to make attempts to get out of the uncomfortable state, but you constantly feel that something is missing. Sometimes your condition resembles a “swing”, when today there is an upswing, and tomorrow a decline is possible. Failures, of course, upset you, but you still don’t give up trying to change something. There is a fear that prolonged failures can unsettle you.
