The perception of the world around us and our own lives are very closely interconnected. There is an opinion that our attitude to what is happening outside or our subjective picture of the world directly affects the quality of our life. Thus, the Spanish philosopher and publicist José Ortega y Gasset asserted: “I am “I” and my circumstances.” Thus, he pointed out that a person is involved in such close interaction with the environment in which he lives that, in a sense, they merge. Accordingly, the picture of the world of each of us is nothing more than the result of this constant contact. A striking example of the influence of other people’s life experiences on a person’s picture of the world is child-parent relationships. Thus, in the process of raising a child, parents convey to him their worldview, values, and life experience. And since this information was received by the child unconsciously, at a more conscious age he will manifest it in the form of attitudes, scenarios, and introjects. And it will take him a lot of time to figure out why he thinks and acts this way and not otherwise. Now let’s look at the formation of a picture of the world through a person’s individual life experience. The personal experience of each of us is unique and unique, however, unfortunately, it is not always positive. Thus, a serious shock in a person’s life in most cases is a painful, traumatic experience, as a result of which the picture of the world greatly changes. In addition to an acute traumatic situation that occurred suddenly, developmental trauma sometimes occurs in a person’s life. The mechanisms for the formation of traumas of this kind, as a rule, originate from childhood, and develop in the event of prolonged frustration of children's needs (for unconditional love, care, acceptance and safety). Receiving a constant refusal to implement the above aspects of development, the child turns into a traumatist - a person with a distorted perception of reality.
