Rest is necessary for each of us in order to restore strength; it is also incredibly important for the psyche; it is greatly affected, especially under stress. The first and most important thing I recommend is rest without gadgets. Sitting and constant monitoring of social media. Networking is not a vacation at all. Constantly scrolling your feed will eventually start to cause anxiety. Vacation through travel. If it is not possible to go somewhere on vacation at sea or abroad, I recommend exploring nearby cities, looking for interesting sights and new places. You might consider going on a hike for a couple of days or doing some kind of extreme activity, such as kayaking. New emotions and impressions provide a cool resource for our brain and psyche. If you want a more relaxing holiday, then at least once a month you need to arrange a day just for yourself: take a bath, read a book, watch your favorite TV series, or go somewhere you have long wanted. You can also give yourself one day once a month when there are no meetings or household chores. It is advisable to stay alone and just be in silence and lie down for most of the day. Do not turn on your phone or computer. It will be difficult the first time. It’s not easy to be alone with yourself and your thoughts. A good rest is not lying in front of the TV or going to a club with alcohol, rest should fill the soul, you should immerse yourself in a state of high and euphoria, calm and serenity. I also recommend studying meditation, they are very relaxing if you do them constantly. Yoga, Pilates, dancing - calm the nervous system and heal the body. For some, relaxing in a sauna or bathhouse with a swimming pool is suitable, for others, it’s good to have a delicious dinner at home with your family - it’s a matter of taste, the main thing is that you feel full and rested after these activities.
