And cope with the stress that a modern school places on a child. 1. Yes. The most important criterion is a conscious desire to go to school. And not just go with a new bag... Namely, be aware. Why, why go to school. Now this is extremely rare.2. The ability to understand and control your own emotions and the emotions of others. The so-called emotional intelligence. Understand your feelings and know what to do with them when they arise. Example: A child says that he is afraid, that is, he experiences fear. Fear is a feeling. And when he is scared, he wants: - to run away - to hide - to be protected, to be helped out of this situation - to be punished (for example) by the enemy. - so that they would hold his hand - so that there would be no test... today - so that something would be decided for him... 3. Be able to ask for help from others. And know what you are experiencing difficulties with. 4. Have developed speech so that it is clear so that others can understand what the child is saying. 5. To see what and where difficulties may arise, and to know why these difficulties will arise. And he could find at least two ways out of this situation. 6. The opportunity to freely ask those questions that bother him or excite him.7. Ability to take initiative and offer to do something. 8. Freely and easily navigate in space. For example, to know and be able to cross the road. 9. The ability to carry out tasks according to instructions. 10. The ability to listen to an adult and carry out his tasks. 11. The ability to enter into a conversation with adults and maintain it. 12. Enter into dialogue and play with peers and older children. 13. Do uninteresting tasks and maintain attention for at least 13 minutes. 14. Take care of and understand the signals of your bodily sensations. And realize what you want to do. Example: a child is tired and his mood has changed because of this; he has no desire to do anything. Experiences discomfort when sitting, and then finds a comfortable position for the body. And selects a movement that will help relieve bodily tension. (If it does not help the body, then aggression and irritation appear). 15. Cope with certain tasks yourself, do something alone. 16. Be alone at home for at least 3-4 hours. 17. Find something to do in your free time. If your child can do at least half of the above, then he is psychologically ready for school. And the process of adaptation to school will be smoother. If a child has 3-5 points from this list, then adaptation will be more difficult. Before you start going to 1st grade, you and your child still have time to help him and improve his level according to some criteria. If you throw grain into the soil for germination now, then there is a chance to develop certain qualities before the beginning of September.
