During consultations, I often get the question of how to love yourself and what exactly needs to be done for this. In fact, there is only one option: tune in to long-term, but at the same time pleasant work on yourself. We can achieve this goal only with small, REGULAR actions. 1️⃣Every day, find at least a few moments for which you praise yourself. Even if at first it causes rejection, the praise turns out to be insincere! This should become a habit for you. 2️⃣Do something pleasant for yourself every day, listen to your desires. For example, don’t force yourself to eat some soup from the day before yesterday according to the principle of “don’t throw it away, where to go,” but feed yourself a new, delicious lunch. 3️⃣Every day try to take care of yourself, treat yourself as carefully as possible. It all starts with the little things! Call yourself a taxi instead of trudging through the rain to catch the bus. Postpone cleaning if you feel unwell. Say no to a toxic friend who is asking you to meet...4️⃣Make a list of your strengths, virtues, successes, achievements - everything that you are proud of. It is important to look at this list more often and periodically supplement it.5️⃣Learn to defend yourself When you next face criticism, claims, devaluations and other negativity - DO NOT remain silent, express your disagreement with the violation of boundaries and carefully put a person in his place. 6️⃣Introduce healthy habits and get rid of what destroys morally and physically 7️⃣Get to know yourself for real, study yourself as a person To do this, ask yourself questions more often : “What do I want? What do I like? What do I hate? What do I dream about?” Observe yourself in different situations. 8️⃣Develop yourself Try something new, gain knowledge, take care of your health and appearance, improve your professionalism... In general, upgrade yourself in different areas. Again, it all starts with small steps. For example, from one podcast on a topic of interest or a chapter of a book per day.
