Everyone imagines happiness in their own way, but for any person this concept is inextricably linked with joy and positivity. True, people often confuse happiness with various other things. Some people believe that only a person who has achieved power can be happy, others believe that happiness lies in children and in a strong family, and for others, the concept of “happiness” is inextricably linked with material well-being. People come up with ways to achieve happiness, use complex methods, develop entire strategies, but they all make the same mistake - they confuse external attributes and internal state. Happiness is inside every person, it is constantly with us, and you just need to open up to this feeling, allow yourself to be happy regardless of any external factors and circumstances. Achieving happiness associated with some external factors is a path to nowhere. Each time you achieve a certain goal, you will experience a surge of happiness, but it will be short-lived, each time you will want to have even more money, power, material values. In order to be happy, you should start from today. Think about what gives you pleasure, what makes you kinder, what gives you joy? Do you love music, do you like swimming, dancing, playing with pets, growing flowers? Make time for your favorite activity, and at least once a day do something that truly brings you joy. After all, doing what we like makes us happy, at least for a while. Occupy your thoughts. Give up negative and sad thoughts, learn to notice the good, focus on pleasant moments. If you are full of interesting plans and ideas, then there is simply no room left in your head for thoughts about past mistakes and misfortunes or fears about the future. By helping others, feeling needed, a person also experiences happiness. Life in society is based on mutual support, and if you care about those around you, you will definitely receive reciprocal attention and care. Americans believe that if a person pretends that everything is fine with him, then sooner or later everything will really work out. Pretend you're happy, it works. Imagine that you are happy and the feeling will take hold, thoughts give rise to action, and you yourself will not notice how your life will soon change. Laughter and smiles are constant companions of happiness. Laughter triggers chemical reactions in the body that produce happiness hormones. With the help of a smile, you lift the mood not only of yourself, but also of those around you. A good mood is contagious, share it with others, smile more often! Endorphin - or the hormone of happiness, is also produced by the sun's rays. Be outside more often, fresh air and sun will give you a good mood. And if it’s cloudy outside, you can visit the solarium. Believe in yourself. It is difficult for an insecure person to be happy. Make a list of your ten best qualities, add one there every month, be happy and praise yourself. Such a simple action will give you optimism and help you believe in your own strength. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and don’t scold yourself for making the wrong decision in the past. There is no person in the world who has never made a mistake. Be grateful to fate for what it has given you: health, loved ones, some special moments. Learn to appreciate what you have and treat those people who are dear to you with care. Let go of the anger, resentment and anger that torment you in connection with some past events. These are destructive feelings that prevent you from looking with hope into the future and building your present.
