Pandemic of panic in the world 😰Clients come with worsened fears and phobias. It's all because of the coronavirus. The panic that it sows around the world infects people faster than the virus itself. Panic, stress and constant fear cause exhaustion, which does not at all contribute to the body's resistance and strengthening the immune system. How not to give in to panic: 1. Make sure you are doing everything you can to protect yourself and your family:✔️Wash your hands with soap, use sanitizer, do not touch your face, eyes, mouth and nose;✔️Stay home if possible, if you need to go out, keep your distance from other people ;✔️do not forget to ventilate and do wet cleaning;✔️if you have a cold, fever, cough and difficulty breathing, call a doctor;✔️follow the recommendations of health authorities and quarantine measures;2. Study the statistics on coronavirus, we mostly panic from the unknown:✔️in 80% of cases, coronavirus occurs like a common cold;✔️elderly people and people with severe chronic diseases are at risk;✔️in children, coronavirus is asymptomatic in most cases;✔️mortality from coronavirus is 0.4% for people under 50 years of age, 1.3% for people under 60 years of age, 3.6% for people under 70 years of age; 8% under the age of 80;✔️after quarantine measures, the incidence of coronavirus in China has practically disappeared;3. Maintain information hygiene:✔️trust only trusted sources;✔️get less involved in panic-inducing conversations and discussions about coronavirus;✔️don’t focus on bad news, there’s a lot of good happening in the world, for example, read stories about how people in different countries support each other ;✔️spend less time on the Internet, monotonous household chores are a good distraction from anxious thoughts;4. Don’t try to control what you can’t influence:✔️the feeling of powerlessness only grows if you are trying to control the situation with coronavirus, recognize your limitations and do only what depends on you;✔️think through a plan of action in different situations, this will help you regain control over what is happening;✔️you can still choose what to do in the current situation, for example, do things that you have been putting off for a long time;5. Take care of yourself:✔️ switch to remote work if possible;✔️ learn to get enough sleep, poor sleep reduces immunity;✔️ take a break and have an interesting time - do exercises, start reading a new book, watch movies, replant flowers, cook something tasty, sort out the rubble in the closet;✔️do what you love or do something you’ve been putting off for a long time;☝️Remember, panic is the fear of an unknown future. To cope with it, you need to concentrate on what is here and now. I offer a simple way to cope with anxiety: Sit in a chair, take a few deep breaths, focus on your senses - where am I? what I see? what do I hear? How does this chair feel? Is what I see, hear and touch pleasant or not? take (for example) coffee and feel its smell and taste, say your feelings out loud - “I’m at home, I’m sitting in a soft chair, I watch my son play, I hear birds singing outside the window and cars driving by, I drink coffee, I like it bitter taste and smell. Here and now, I and my loved ones are healthy." Try to stay in the present and not run away with thoughts into an alarming future. All the people of the world are now going through a difficult time, and what we can really do is to remain calm and not give in to panic. Health and peace to all of us!
