In a situation that you cannot control (and we are all in it now), it is important: 1. Separate what you cannot influence (the spread of the virus, the desires and values of other people, the exchange rate of the ruble, Putin’s words, compliance by random passers-by with preventive measures, etc.) from what you can.2. Try (!) to leave the first and do the second. Feeling in control of your own life is a VERY IMPORTANT support. Therefore, for those who have not yet achieved enlightenment and are not ready to give up the worldly, I will outline options: - cook something tasty and/or learn how to cook a new dish, - get a pet if you have long wanted this, - clean regularly, - communicate with loved ones via video call, - exercise regularly, - take care of yourself: masks, manicures, hair coloring, etc., - watch interesting films, listen to podcasts, favorite and new music, - learn the language, - take all the trash and things out of the house , which you have not used for more than a year, - take care of your appearance at home: wear new clothes that make you happy, wash your face, comb your hair, - engage in volunteering and/or charity. If you can’t sit at home, now you can travel around Moscow and bring groceries to elderly people, - follow preventive measures: when going out, put on a mask, gloves, treat your hands with antiseptic, - regularly meet with your psychologist on Skype at the same time. And remember that now, more than ever, our lives happen “here and now.” Joys and sorrows have become very simple. Today I ordered delivery of pizza and sushi, ate in the sunny kitchen - and it’s already good! How are you supporting yourself now? What do you rely on? I prepared this post based on client sessions. The photo shows a creature for whom nothing has changed in this life. I just became calmer (probably because I’m at home all the time).
