In Russia, and even more so in Petrozavodsk, residents rarely turn to psychologists for qualified help. Among the majority of the population, it is considered shameful to admit this or that problem, and even more so they do not have the courage to solve it by contacting to a stranger. This fear arises, but at the same time, nothing gives you such strength as getting rid of heavy, oppressive thoughts. Divorce from your husband, a child’s reluctance to attend kindergarten or school, teenage problems, illness of loved ones, family conflicts, terrible diagnoses, depression— all of these can be the cause of more serious mental disorders. But trying to cope with these problems alone is like swimming across the ocean—it is unrealistic and unnecessary. You don’t have to endure humiliation from your loved ones, experience depression because of the stupid actions of your bosses, listen to your neighbor’s screams, or calm your child down every time you send him to kindergarten. Fortunately, there are non-drug solutions to your problems: consultations with a psychologist. In these meetings, which last 1-2 hours (at your discretion), you can allow yourself to be yourself. You don't need to pretend to be a super hero and prove that you're right, or put up with the reality around you. Of course, all problems cannot be solved in one session; at least several meetings will be required. But with each meeting, relief appears from gradually disappearing problems. It can be very difficult to decide on the first consultation. But that’s why she’s the first to meet and understand whether this or that psychologist and his working methods are suitable for you or not. You have the right to choose. You can make an appointment with a psychologist or ask your question on Skype.
