Yesterday I wrote an article Another way for a single woman 40+ to get acquainted, where she made the assumption that men are often guided by their voice, which can compensate for their not-so-model-like appearance. It is also important that the voice sound in a major key, and not in a minor key. Remember how sad we immediately become when we talk to a person for whom everything is bad, and we can hear decadent notes in his voice? If communication with such a person always takes place in such a dreary tone, we no longer want to communicate with him. When we see that this person is calling us, we, sinfully, already think: “This bore again, he’ll start complaining! Or maybe you shouldn’t pick up the phone?” Sound familiar? Many men think about the same thing when they meet, even a beautiful, but very “minor” woman, whose conversations are constantly tuned to a negative wave: - Everything is expensive! - There are only bastards around! - The weather is bad! - I have no money! - Everyone is lucky, but I’m not! After a constant stream of negativity, even the most beautiful woman turns into Eeyore from the cartoon about Winnie the Pooh! Well, or into Princess Nesmeyana, if she’s very good looking! Only, for a young creature, perhaps there will be a kind fellow who wants to cheer up Nesmeyan. And older men respond faster to a resourceful cheerful voice, which sounds much younger than dissatisfied whining or grumbling! And then, if you don’t want to while away your days alone, you need to try to change the tone. How to do it? Just start practicing speaking with a smile in front of the mirror. Try saying any simple phrase, for example: “I’m fine,” first without a smile, and then with a smile. Record both options on your phone's voice recorder, analyze and, as they say, feel the difference. She will really surprise you! Here are more exercises for working on your mood using a mirror. How to attract the attention of men today? The magic of your gaze. Witchcraft technique is only for women I hate myself! How to cope with dysmorphophobia? Remember what Baron Munchausen said, who knew how to pull himself out of the swamp by his hair.
