From the author: The article was first posted here. With this article I want to continue the section “Success Stories of Ordinary Moms.” Today I am pleased to introduce you to a young mother who lives in a village near the city of Balashov, Saratov region. Her name is Vera, her daughter is now 1 year and 1 month old. Our virtual acquaintance took place when a page with the name “Children's things in Balashov” came knocking as a friend on the Odnoklassniki website (Balashov is my hometown). Friendly page selling children's things I began to observe her activities, not without curiosity. As a mother, I was pleasantly surprised by the low prices and friendliness of this page. Its owner always promptly answered questions, apologized if something did not “grow together” with the order, listened to the wishes of clients, and collected feedback. The assortment was constantly updated. All the photographs had a description, and in the comments there were lively conversations about the size, color, and quality of the products. From the comments, I understood that the owner of the page was the mother of a little girl, who was only a few months old at that time. My curiosity increased even more. Moreover, at that time I was preparing to conduct master classes for mothers on maternity leave on finding their favorite job. Having overcome all fears and stereotypes, I know from myself and from the experience of communicating with many mothers from a small town how doubts, fears and stereotypes kill even a strong desire to earn extra money. Here are typical phrases about working on maternity leave, which I have heard many times in different variations: “we don’t have normal work in our city”, “where can you find a part-time job when you have a small child...”, “and when to work, here with As a child, the hassle is through the roof,” “and if you start something new, you have to study again or you need a lot of start-up capital.” And here is a man who made a successful project on the Internet. A mother with a baby in her arms, who practically created an online store, apparently, almost from scratch. My curiosity got the best of me, and I wrote in private messages, offering to share my story with other mothers. The story of an ordinary mother who made money on maternity leave on the site “ Odnoklassniki" you can find out here
