From the author: The story was published in the magazine "Dunno" No. 5 (March, 2015) A cute story that I came up with on the eve of the 2015 New Year. It is a reflection of the behavior of schoolchildren. After reading, it is recommended to discuss a story with a baby, which will help focus the child’s attention on the undesirable aspects of behavior described in it. On Friday, the girls were in a hurry after school to go to a club for sewing soft toys, because at the last lesson Larisa Petrovna promised that they would learn to sew curly lambs. As soon as the bell rang, the girlfriends ran out of the classroom and rushed down the stairs to the cloakroom. There they hastily put on their shoes, carelessly wrapped scarves around their necks, pulled their hats on their heads, and already on the way out of school they were buttoning up their jackets. Oh, how funny it was for Vika to watch how the huge pom-pom on Yana’s hat jumped up and down and up as she walked -down! And for a moment, it even seemed to Vika that this pom-pom was somehow alive... Because of such a rush, Yana’s whole face turned red, and droplets of sweat appeared on her small pretty nose, generously strewn with freckles... - Blow on my face, it’s “boiled” “from the heat!” Yana asked nervously. Since nothing similar to a fan was found, Vika took out the first notebook she came across from her backpack and began waving it in front of her friend’s face, creating a “cooling” effect. But Yana felt that all her hair under her hat was sweating, and her hat began to prick, and this made her ears itch. -Oh, that's what it's all about! - it dawned on Yana. - It's my hat's fault! I'll take off my hat! I have it very warm, and also prickly. I feel very hot in it! - Maybe you can bear with it a little? The bus will arrive soon... - Vika tried to say, but without even listening to what her friend wanted to say, Yana quickly pulled off a warm red hat with a huge pompom on the top, which her grandmother had knitted for her. Vika was also hot, but she did not dare to take off hers hat. She remembered her mother’s warning that when it’s cold outside, your head and feet should be warm. The girls stood like that for a few more minutes at the bus stop, and then cheerfully jumped on the bus that arrived. The lesson on sewing curly lambs went just fine: Yana and Vika They sewed the body and the head, sewed on the eyes, a bell on the neck, and their sheep turned out to be very beautiful. On the way home, the girls chatted and laughed merrily: “Oh, imagine how I give my little sheep to my grandmother - she’ll be delighted,” Yana reasoned loudly .-And I’ll give mine to my mother, - she loves my crafts! - Vika said proudly in response. - What if we also make a sheep for our labor teacher? - asked Yana. - I don’t mind, go ahead! Come to me tomorrow, we’ll sew together,” Vika suggested with sparkling eyes. “Okay, I’ll call you in the morning,” Yana answered, saying goodbye to her beloved friend. On Saturday morning, Vika got up early because she was waiting for Yana’s call. But Yana didn’t call. Vika decided that Yana had forgotten about the contract, and dialed her number herself: “Yanka is lying with a high fever, she has a sore throat,” Yana’s grandmother answered sadly. “What a shame that Yana is sick!” - said Vika. “Tell her to get well soon!” The girlfriends easily guessed the cause of the cold. Yana was sick all weekend, she had to take pills for fever, and bitter syrup for agnina. Because of her fever, Yana slept a lot, and in these dreams she dreamed of a curly lamb that they had to sew for Elena Nikolaevna... Questions for discussion: Where were the girlfriends in a hurry after school? How did Yana feel while waiting for the bus? Why did she feel hot? ?How did the girl decide to “cool off”? What plans did the girls make for the weekend? What prevented these plans? Why did Yana get sick??
