Why do people think this is normal? – Work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (spending another 2-3 hours on the road) – 2 days off on weekends (and alcohol) – Small apartment on the outskirts (taken out with a mortgage) – Looking forward to retirement (and trying to live on a pension) Is this normal? Living for the weekend, drowning in loans and having a vacation once a year... Call me crazy, but I think this is abnormal! Part 2. Smart people do not consider themselves smart They are convinced of their stupidity (mediocrity) because life is complicated - and no one can have all the answers. However, our best days are yet to come (in the future). And not behind (in our past). And finally: “If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room.” By the way: Why aren’t you rich yet? If you are so smart, then why are you so poor? Why are you still not rich? Many people do not understand what “income generating assets” are. They believe that “assets” are their possessions, + their things that increase in value, + their investments that pay dividends. Not certainly in that way. Our “assets” are our future consumption, this is our future money (that is, money that we will have after some time). For example, now we are buying an index fund with the goal of selling it in small parts in the distant future so that live (with significantly increased money).Part 3. How to stop working and become rich. Invest 75% of the amount you earn, and in 5 years you will be able to retire* (the income from your investments will be enough for a comfortable life). By investing 50% of your salary, you can retire in 15 years. By investing 30%, you will need 25 years. If you don't invest at all, then you will have to resign yourself to a government pension. No one is coming to save you. You must learn to save yourself - You must take care of this yourself. Stop taking loans, learn to earn decent money. Stop deceiving yourself - loans will not solve your financial problems, they will aggravate them even more. Life flies, days flash by, weeks come and go, turning into months and years. No one will come to save you from money problems. You must learn to save yourself. You have to take care of this yourself.Additional: Read my other article “Where NOT to invest your money?
