From the author: Published For several years, in working with clients, I have successfully used functional biofeedback (FBU) technology, based on the principle of biofeedback (BFB). This technology lies, in particular, at the basis of the well-known “Volna” program. To begin with, I will explain what functional biofeedback (FBU) is. FBU is the voluntary control of the physiological processes of the body in the direction necessary for health and training purposes using specialized technical means. In order for a person to learn to influence his own functional state, he needs to receive current information about his condition and the results of his actions to change it. The essence of the technology lies precisely in the ability to monitor certain psychophysiological parameters, which allows a person in real time, based on monitoring the dynamics of indicators converted into a form understandable for the client - feedback signals, to train skills that are useful from a physiological point of view, ensuring optimal the functioning of the body. Thus, the principle of biological feedback is implemented: a person sees his physiological reactions and, with the help of the program, learns to influence them. How does this look in practice? Sensors that measure psychophysiological parameters are attached to the client’s hands. The device itself is connected to a computer. Feedback signals in the form of graphs, slides, and animated scenes are shown on the monitor. During the session, it is possible to connect various musical accompaniments. A process that can be regulated by a person while working with this technology is breathing. The basis for this is that breathing is the only physiological process that can be voluntarily controlled. In situations of increased stress, breathing allows us to regulate our physiological and emotional state. According to the developers of the technology of NPF "Amalthea", in the course of working on this technology, the following parameters change: - the processes of inhibition and excitation are balanced, - the load on the cardiovascular system is normalized, - metabolism is activated, - blood supply to the brain improves, - concentration increases attention and performance, as well as arbitrary control of behavior, the psycho-emotional state is normalized and the general background of mood is improved. Thus, having learned to regulate breathing, the client acquires the skills of relieving stress, regulating the psychophysiological state, and increasing mental and physical performance. The great advantage of the program is that it can be used both independently and in integration with preventive, correctional, and educational programs. Thus, using functional feedback technology, the “Rehabilitation” program was built, aimed at working with suspended minors. A system of psychological support for offenders has been built in the process of their resocialization and in order to ensure a targeted approach in organizing and conducting rehabilitation activities with minors who have committed crimes and are on probation. The work on psychological support is aimed at correcting behavior and preventing relapses of unlawful behavior on the part of suspended minors. This work was initiated by the district municipal reconciliation service in 2010 due to the fact that restorative procedures had already been introduced into the activities of the psychological Center, but specialized support was required those minors who have undergone restorative procedures and trials. In this regard, an original program was developed.
