“If you want life to become better, learn to do something differently than before” Tell me, which of you wants to be happy, loved, successful, confident, needed? This list can be continued depending on your wishes. And who is ready to work on themselves, change, cope with difficulties, take responsibility for what is happening in your life? Those who want to change their lives can be divided into 3 groups: I dream, but I do nothing; I do everything possible, but I don’t dream; I dream and act!! The third category is closer to me, but, unfortunately, I often include myself in the first. (((What prevents us from acting? Fears, doubts, uncertainty, laziness, conservatism, stereotypical behavior, etc. It’s difficult to get out of your comfort zone, show creativity and try something new. More than 10 years ago, I attended a conference of Gestalt therapists for the first time in Minsk. For me, this kind of event was new, interesting, unusual and educational. I remember one story told by Natalya. Olifirovich. What is the difference between a rat and a person? An experiment was carried out. A rat was put in a maze with four tunnels. They put cheese in the fourth tunnel. The rat ran into the first tunnel - there was no cheese, in the second there was no cheese again, in the third... In the fourth tunnel it finally - she finds CHEESE!! Next time she goes straight to the fourth tunnel. Do you want cheese? Zip-zip-zip to the fourth tunnel - here's the cheese? After some time, the person conducting the experiment puts the cheese in another tunnel. The rat zip-zip-zip into the fourth tunnel. There is no cheese. The rat runs out. Again into the fourth tunnel. There is no cheese. Runs out. After some time, the rat stops running into the fourth tunnel and starts looking for cheese again. What is the difference between a rat and a person? The person will run into the fourth tunnel forever! Forever! The man believed in the fourth tunnel. Rats don’t believe in anything, they are interested in cheese. And a person begins to believe in the fourth tunnel and believes that it is right to run into the fourth tunnel, whether there is cheese there or not. A person needs rightness more than cheese. If you don't get cheese for a long time, and your life doesn't work, then it's worth wondering if you've been running around the fourth tunnel for years? What is more important to you: being right or being happy? P.S. I would be grateful if you share your thoughts about the article in the comments..
