From the author: How to wake up cheerful in the morning? When can an alarm clock be a friend? How can meditation help in the morning? The question about a cheerful morning is not a question about “not enough energy for in the morning,” this is not even a question about “getting off on the wrong foot.” A cheerful morning is a question about our awareness (this is firstly), and about our habits (this is secondly). Today we will talk about how why the morning is not good, and how to make it such (we’ll tell you about the practice of Anahata Puja). Let’s look at the root! I think that I won’t be telling great news if I say that a cheerful morning begins not in the morning, but in the evening. And in the evening on the wrong day the moment when we go to bed, and at the moment when we: We overate We watched TV for a long time, sat on social networks, etc. We didn’t ventilate the room We went to bed in a mess We had a fight with our family / we went to bed in an anxious state We don’t understand WHY we need to wake up tomorrow at all From Such evenings result in bad, intense sleep, which does more harm than good. And as a result, we wake up “broken.” What to do? It seems that the situation is “hopeless.” When you feel bad, you don’t want to do anything, and if you don’t do anything, then nothing will change, i.e. as bad as it was, so it will be. A vicious circle. But everything is not so sad. There is an exit. In fact, there is! Often the problem we live with can be solved very simply. You just need to not think about it as a problem as a whole, but try to break it down into small steps. You don’t need to BE ENERGETIC and HAPPY. Let’s take a specific task for today: Start the morning Cheerful, because a good start to the day VERY strongly contributes to its good continuation. A Now more specifically, What will help us get up cheerful? What do you think? And I will answer that it’s an ALARM CLOCK! But don’t rush to snort right away. An alarm clock will help us get up earlier, but we need to set it not in the early morning, but in the evening! For example, we need to wake up at 7.00 tomorrow. Fine. This is the task. We need 8 hours to sleep. In total, we must go to bed at 23.00. But in order to go to bed at 23.00, we still need to do all sorts of small things, wash up, dismantle the bed, and all this will take, say, 30 minutes. So, we need to set the alarm clock for 22.30! And when we hear the alarm clock, the first thing we need to do is finish all our work and go get ready for bed. In any case, it is unacceptable to try to fall asleep immediately after working the mind (the same TV, computer, reading). You first need to distract yourself and get ready for sleep. Give yourself at least 15 minutes of silence! In the morning you will wake up in a much more complacent mood, and you can start your morning with the excellent practice of Anahata Puja, which will not only allow you to enter the day more consciously, but will also fill you with energy for this. I wish you a cheerful morning! You can read more about the technique itself here: Morning meditation of Anahata Puja.
