Most people who want to show up, promote themselves, have the same fear. Fear of criticism, condemnation, negativity. When I started blogging, I was literally paralyzed by the thought, that I'll get Haight. I was afraid to say something personal, to open up, to go on air. I had the belief that if I received negativity, it meant I was doing something wrong. I’m saying the wrong thing, I was mistaken, wrong, and the like. Do you know what helped to cope with this fear? Changing your thinking. With a psychologist, I reconsidered my attitude towards hate and this is what I realized: Criticism is inevitable. I realized that there are as many opinions as there are people. Someone's opinion doesn't make you better or worse. There's nothing wrong with you to begin with. The more visible you become, the more feedback you get. It's impossible to please everyone. So there will be hate. And it means that you are growing and doing everything right. Haters just want attention. In fact, it can be painful to see someone else's progress and, out of powerlessness to cope with disappointment in themselves, a person can pour out their pain in angry comments. This should not stop you. After all, any comments add activity to your blog. What can you do about it? Never mind. Do absolutely nothing. Treat haters with understanding and sympathy, but under no circumstances get involved in the discussion. If you start arguing with him or proving something, you lose. You will waste your energy and change nothing. It's better not to react. As a last resort, there is a ban. When my blog began to grow, people wrote different comments. Some supported, some argued. Sometimes they write toxic things. How am I coping? I treat this kind of stress as a zone of my growth. The more stress you can handle, the more income you can expect. People who break into sweat from one sidelong glance will not be able to advance far in money. So I rejoice in negativity as an opportunity to improve my stress tolerance. Many things that used to worry me no longer bother me at all. And if I feel unpleasant, then I can quickly experience this feeling and choose how best to react. Fear of judgment is my favorite topic in working with clients. I help you quickly remove this fear and express yourself more boldly.
