Time largely determines the way of thinking. It is difficult to disagree with the classic - now many people complain that they still have not found themselves or have suddenly learned something about themselves that makes it unclear how to live further, and how they lived before is also not clear. And these are not empty words. There are many opportunities, but their prospects are often vague. As research in the field of social and cognitive psychology showed back in the 70s, as possible options increase, it becomes more difficult to choose. How can you “decide quickly”? There are also a lot of landmarks, for every taste. Choose - I don’t want, as they say. But it’s impossible not to choose, because people are designed in such a way that when making the most important decisions in life, when resolving moral issues, you need to focus on something. There are many options, but they all have something in common: being results-oriented. Even, one might say, the pursuit of results. How can it be more effective? How faster? The pursuit of a goal in itself is not bad; the creator should be concerned about how his work will be crowned. But sometimes you just want to say: “I’ll help you more efficiently and quickly, just explain why you need this.” Moreover, there is also the fear of making a mistake in choice, which has haunted us almost since childhood (seriously, at the age of 14, unlike the guys I teach our science, I was not very worried about the prospect of a wrong life choice). In general, go and tell me that nowadays a person finds it easy and calm to be alone with himself. This is not so, of course. Although most often a person of our time simply goes about his business, as they like to say in the West, and in his free time tries to try something new: learn a few words in Italian, master a new sport. So his comet moves along its trajectory and does not bother anyone, when suddenly something happens, for example, a certain round or not so date comes, and it’s as if something has broken inside - “I’ve derailed my life.” What to do? The answer for all times: live. Losing and finding yourself again, then losing again, but not completely, and not even half, but a little bit, and finding again. Yes, we make mistakes, as it seems to us, at the cost of several years of our lives. We did or didn't do something all this time that we could have... come on. The choices we made in the past determine who we are in the present. Well, you wouldn’t be so beautiful if it weren’t for that faculty of architecture that “killed your love for the art of construction forever” - that’s a fact. In my opinion, being in search of new activities, new knowledge is generally a normal story for a person. Changing your field of activity throughout your life is useful from the point of view of psychophysiology and personality development as a whole. What to do if “everything is not right” and you are tired of making mistakes? Perhaps, in this case, you need to get to know yourself better, understand what exactly you see as meaning, what is important to you, and what previously prevented you from enjoying life. With this in mind, it is good to contact a psychologist who has the necessary tools to help you not get lost in the vastness of your rich inner world. And now my favorite thing: a person can change himself to one degree or another and change his life throughout the entire time allotted to him. Nature has done a great job on our flexibility, creativity and ability to make changes to the reality around us through willpower. If you still have doubts about your own abilities, then you should seek help. It’s not for nothing that we, people of the helping profession, by the way, sit here and concentrate on the problems of man of our time :)
