“I’m looking for a salary. Don’t offer a job” is an old joke. Funny? Maybe. Would. If only it weren’t so relevant and topical. So much so that gradually this joke becomes a kind of social game, a general drift. And what we laughed at heartily 5-10 years ago is today becoming “the realities of life.” And tomorrow? What about 5-10 years in the future? Who will work, dear ones? Where will the salary come from? Now that's a good question! The employer provides the salary. And we don’t have many options for employers: the state or the owner of a private business. Note that the state, as an employer, is losing its position more and more every year. To whom? Business. Moreover, initially the basic capabilities of these two groups of employers are very different. What about the demands from the mercenary? Also different. Only with the opposite sign. What cannot be demanded from the state (or can be demanded, but is useless, because it is big, strong and... faceless), is actively and foamingly demanded from the owner-employer. And to anyone who has at least once encountered hiring, organizing work and financial obligations with at least one hired employee, it is obvious that this is like a monkey with a grenade. It is never possible to predict what will go through your head and how it will affect your work. And if there are dozens, hundreds, thousands of such “monkeys”?.. Life on a powder keg is probably calmer and more stable than doing business in such conditions. Theorists from science, demagogues from analytics and other pseudo-experts with a claim to coolness and significance in the business world they call it the human factor, the Slavic mentality, the lack of a proper motivation system, weak team spirit and other exaggerated diagnoses. In such “soap bubbles” you can search for solutions for a long time and abstrusely. And the longer and smarter, the more expensive it is, obviously. But what about the current owner-employer? Especially if he does not have a mega-corporation, but a medium-sized business. Or even less. And people remain people. The principle of the “powder keg” has not been canceled! Let’s see WHO the owner usually looks for as his employees. At the training “Technology for complete control over your own business,” in consulting projects and business camps, we ask directly: who do you want to see in your business? Many years of experience show that in one point the coincidence is almost 100%. This point is higher education. Just some kind of malicious thought virus! Moreover, the overwhelming majority answered the question - why? - They can’t answer anything intelligible. Moreover, they actively agree that it is still necessary to train or retrain, that with diplomas there are more claims to life - money, conditions, position, etc. They agree. And in the vacancies they still write: mandatory conditions - VO. The report “False Universities” on the Russian TV channel confirmed our many years of observation. I will not retell its contents. Which of the employer-owners is interested will have to see for himself. And at the same time, he will honestly answer a number of simple questions: 1. What benefits does it give to you personally and your business if your employee has a higher education diploma?2. What level of knowledge and skills are your requirements for this or that position and will THESE “certified specialists” be able to reach this level?3. And if the level is high, then WHO will work for you in 3-5-10 years? Where will you find the ones you are planning (or have already developed) for your business now?4. What can you do today or in the near future so that your business does not depend on the “monkey with a grenade”? And even with the total dominance of the labor market by ambitious empty nesters with higher education, your business worked and brought in the expected income. And if you hope that Russia is not us and this cup will blow our way, then I dare to disappoint you - with us it will be faster and sadder . Because the multimillion-strong working and intelligent population of Ukraine is leaving the country in search of decent conditions. For a long time or forever. At least to the same Russia. This time. And we don't have one next door
