From the author: Continuation of the article on the use of clay therapy in the work of a psychologist Art therapeutic techniques are widely used in the work of psychologists. Using flower therapy (my name) brings innovation and interest to clients. In addition, it allows the specialist to see diagnostic points. The “Flower Flower” exercise is taken as a basis; it is usually used in sand therapy. (El G.N. "Man playing in sand. Dynamic sand therapy", St. Petersburg, 2010). Artificial flowers are usually used. I took natural ones, those that are still growing in the garden; now the flowering season is not over yet and they are perfect for doing this. What is needed for the flower technique - desire, good mood, kindness and so that faith in childhood is not lost. In your work, you can use a sandbox, you can use a field (ordinary board, paper, etc.), everything on which it will be comfortable to build a composition. The choice of color depends on the client’s wishes, so we can offer several different materials to choose from. Figures of people, animals, fairy-tale characters - you can also use various ones, plastic, clay, wood, etc. This technique can be used both in individual therapy and in family therapy. According to my observations, women and children are very willing to get involved in the process and participate with pleasure, while men, on the contrary, do not take it very seriously or do it because “it’s the right thing to do.” Continuing the work (beginning in Part 1), we use the resulting figures and create a situation “here and now.” We work on issues of what we would like to change, in relationships, in ourselves, then we create a composition “the way we would like...”. It is very important for a specialist while working on a composition to be the client’s feelings, what he feels when he creates his masterpiece, what he feels when he makes changes, what feelings he feels at the end. There is an option for questions that are asked during work; they can be varied depending on the situation. And here are the results of our joint work.
