The modern world dictates its own rules. The rules under which we work, earn money, work from morning to evening. At a “crazy” pace, a person can fall into a state of emotional burnout. What is emotional burnout? This is a unique state of mind in the emotional-volitional sphere. It manifests itself in work activity as increasing fatigue, reluctance to communicate, engage in work activities, indifference to one’s responsibilities at work, a feeling of one’s own insignificance or insolvency in the field of work. People in professions of the class “man-person”, “man-nature”, as well as people working in stressful and/or monotonous conditions are always at risk. Simply put, emotional burnout is the first mental signal of exhaustion. Why is this dangerous for the individual? If you ignore emotional burnout, the condition will worsen into chronic fatigue or even depression. How to recognize emotional burnout? 1. A person becomes irritable during work.2. Attention becomes distracted, it is difficult to concentrate on one’s responsibilities.3. A persistent desire to remain silent; it is difficult for a person to talk with other people, not because he does not want to, but because he cannot.4. The expression of emotions becomes scarce, and a certain indifference to what is happening at work or in the family appears.5. This is often confused with normal fatigue. But with emotional burnout, rest does not give a feeling of integrity of emotions. People in professions of the class “man-person”, “man-nature”, as well as people working in a stressful and/or monotonous mode are always at risk. With emotional burnout, it helps: 1. Long healthy rest (vacation).2. Exclusion from life, as far as possible, of stress (both negative and positive).3. Consultations with a psychologist.4. Normalization of daily routine, wakefulness and sleep.5. Anticipatory actions: do not allow the state to reach emotional burnout (engage in self-analysis). What does not help with emotional burnout: 1. Any psychoactive substances (drugs, alcohol).2. Ignoring/suppressing the state.3. Aggression, outburst of emotions on loved ones, colleagues or clients. How do you cope with emotional burnout??
