Freezing feelings in response to negative scenarios in our lives is a natural defensive reaction of our internal self-defense mechanism. This mechanism can be activated when we experience painful emotional states such as bitterness, fear, disappointment or sadness. One of the main reasons for freezing feelings is the desire to maintain one's emotional security. When we encounter negative events or traumatic situations, our brains can go into defense mode to reduce our emotional suffering. Freezing feelings may be our way of avoiding pain and maintaining our mental balance. In addition, freezing feelings may be associated with previous emotional traumas or unpleasant events from the past. For example, if we have experienced a serious loss or been betrayed, we may subconsciously try to avoid such suffering by blocking our emotions. Also, when we are faced with repeated negative scenarios, we may become accustomed to freezing our feelings in response to them. Unconsciously, we may decide that this is the best way to cope with difficulties and maintain our emotional well-being. However, it is important to note that freezing feelings can have negative consequences for our mental and emotional well-being in the long term. By refusing to experience negative emotions, we also limit our ability to live a fulfilling life, including joy, love and satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to learn to recognize and accept your emotions, including negative ones, and to develop healthy strategies for coping with difficult situations and emotions. Understanding and being aware of our emotions will help us better understand ourselves and create more true and harmonious relationships with ourselves and others. This is why my coach and I created the Feelings project. Learn to see all your feelings, learn to honestly look at all suppressed feelings, live everything that you suppressed, cope with all the darkness that is inside, and show your true and authentic self❤ There are no places in the 4th stream.
