From the author: Sometimes parents get confused - how to make the process of getting used to school easier? It seems that we went to developmental classes and had the necessary conversations, but is this enough? On the other hand, enhanced parental care for children is also not a special help. Which mother would be pleased with the prospect of going through the school course again, every day, doing homework, memorizing poems and putting together a school bag for the child...Where to start adapting? From preparing for school. Go shopping for school supplies and organize your future workspace together. This is not just a briefcase, notebooks, uniform. This is a lot of positive emotions that you experience together. After this, school will not seem like such a scary and incomprehensible world. Make a future daily schedule together. Even if a child knows what a routine is, it changes a lot when he enters school. And if he has a daily routine, then he will be less afraid of not being able to do something, being late, forgetting... Include in the schedule not only lessons and homework, but also additional classes, clubs, free time and time for relaxation. And if the child also illustrates everything, then it will be doubly wonderful. Teach your child to be independent. Let him tinker, but he does everything himself. Don't do for a first grader what he can do himself. A child at school lives without his mother’s help, and if he knows how to do this, then it will be much easier to adapt to school. Teach him to respect the teacher. The first teacher is the person who shapes the child’s attitude towards learning for all subsequent years. Many capable children were unable to develop their abilities not because of laziness, but because of psychological incompatibility with their first teacher. In addition, the first teacher must be an undeniable authority for the child. Help your child build a relationship with the teacher on their own and never speak ill of the teacher in front of the child. If the problems are really serious, transfer the child to another class. The game remains, as before, the child’s dominant, and if he entered school, this does not mean that he suddenly became an adult. Don't forget to play with your baby in your free time; in addition, this will help him better learn new knowledge. Let him be a child at least a little - because you can’t bring back childhood!
