In recent years, the issue of emigration has become increasingly relevant. Emigration is a crisis accompanied by a high level of stress that every relocant faces. It would be a good idea to prepare for the move (finish all your business, study the culture, language, laws). Unfortunately, in the fall of 22, we were faced with a large number of spontaneous emigration, which entailed even more stress and difficulties. There are different classifications of the stages of adaptation to emigration. I will give you the simplest of them, it will help you decide where you are now. Euphoria or charm. The world is seen in rosy tones, pleasure, bliss, interest. Disappointment. Getting to know the new system. You begin to compare the old place with the new one, often not in favor of the new country. You face challenges and cultural differences. You have difficulty understanding what is happening in this country. Homesickness. Setting Stage. Associated with learning new rules, language, culture. The question of self-realization may arise. Often there are depressive, apathetic states, anger, irritation, loneliness. The apogee of the crisis is the aggravation of all negative experiences, when you have to either overcome yourself and begin to adapt, or give up, lose faith in your own abilities and return home. Assimilation and biculturalism. A clear understanding of how to live in a new place appears, irritation goes away, new contacts appear. Emigration affects the phenomenon of autonomy - belonging. This issue is often a sore point not only in connection with emigration, but also with our elections in general. (Will my mother accept me if I become a singer and not an accountant, as she always wanted). Our connection with family and places is an important stronghold for each of us; connection with family adds strength. The further we are from them, the less connected we feel. Fuel to the fire here is that there is a lot of condemnation towards those who emigrate (especially lately). Protesting against these connections (I don’t want to know anyone and I renounce everything) is also an indicator of pain. What to do if it’s difficult. Create conditions that are as close to yours as possible familiar life. Food, sports, hobbies, sleep, daily routine. Beauty services are important for girls. If you miss your native places, look for your compatriots. And build new contacts. Fortunately, there are a lot of chats now, there are psychological communities and psychological support groups. Remember that you are not the only one who is having a difficult time and most people will understand and support you. There are many cool leisure places like Quiz, Mafia, and sports sections. It is important not to leave yourself alone. Do not lock yourself at home. Go for walks. Meet new places, explore new terrain. If difficulties arise in resolving issues related to the new system, seek help from fellow immigrants. Pay attention to your condition. Massages, body practices, yoga, swimming pool will help you. Try to communicate with the locals, it helps to integrate. Don’t rush to do everything. Your resource is limited due to stress. Remember this. If you can’t cope, go to a psychologist for help. If you still decide to return home, you will also face a crisis. There's nothing wrong with that. Seek support from your loved ones. Remember, when immigrating, it is important not only to integrate into a new culture, but also to preserve your identity.
