Working a lot does not mean earning a lot. Working hard means entering a race with yourself, where what awaits you at the finish line is not mountains of gold, but burnout and loss of motivation. It’s not for nothing that they say that the horse worked the hardest on the collective farm, but she never became the chairman. Everyone seems to already know this truth. But how can you work less and earn more? In this article you will not find a magic solution that will help you earn money without making any effort, but I will tell you what you can do to reduce the hours you spend at work , and get rid of hidden procrastination. The first thing to understand is that, basically, income is earned by how valuable the results of an activity are, and not by the time spent on it. The question here, especially if you work for yourself, in productivity, and not in the number of hours spent at work. Surely, you have heard about the 20/80 principle, or in other words, the Pareto principle, which states that “20% of efforts give 80% of the results, and the remaining 80% effort is only 20% of the result.” To work less and get more as a result, to realize your goals and not burn out, you need to fill this 20% of your efforts with effective, key actions. I offer my clients something like this work plan: Set a goal Write down everything you do during the day Give an honest assessment of how it helps you achieve your goal Identify key actions (those 20% that give 80% of the result) Understand what emotions and thoughts and impulses arise when performing key actions Work with these emotions Start performing key actions and reduce the number of tasks that do not affect your main indicators Try using this plan. You may be able to take a different look at what you do every day and reevaluate the importance of certain actions. Of course, sometimes it is difficult for us to evaluate our behavior from the outside, so if you feel that something is not working out for you, you can contact a specialist. Not always, but very often, points 5 and 6 can only be worked out with a psychologist. Remember that in order to start acting, you don’t have to wait until you stop feeling fear or doubt. We can act together with them 🙂Subscribe to my telegram channel, which will be useful for everyone who wants to grow without self-abuse https://t.me/+g29BkHsrggIyYTUy
