Thoughts of my son Svyatoslav, 9 years old, about choosing a profession.- Mom, did you know that you would be a psychologist?- No, but I definitely didn’t want to be either a doctor or a teacher. Although I did both easily. I recognized the symptoms of children at camp or at school, I could prescribe medications and doses, like your grandmother, my mother is a pediatrician, and she then said that I think correctly, I recognize illnesses correctly and I feel it’s worth treating with pills or you can survive. And at school and pioneer camps she could easily organize children for something creative or something useful. Then she worked as a pioneer counselor. And psychology was revealed to me much later, when I was 18 years old, students from BSU came to our technical school with temperament tests. And somehow I liked that a few questions can tell something about you. Then she gradually began to study philosophy, religion, psychology... And psychology is something in common between medicine and pedagogy, and there is no need for pills. You have to worry, what has not been experienced before, you can show what interferes with it or what will help better. - That’s what I understood. I can do a lot in the future. I can be anyone. I can be a cook - I can feed people, I can be like my neighbor Zhenya - I can understand everything about cars, like brother Mansur - I can understand electrics, like you, I can be a psychologist, like my friend Yura - I can be able to do a lot, in general, all roads are open to me. I don't want to be a taxi driver. That's why I don't know what I want to be when I'm 20 or 30 or 40 years old. Whatever I want, I will become. I'm interested in a lot of things.
