Hello! For a whole month I was going to write an article and put it off. In the summer there is a lot to do at the dacha, September has arrived, school has started, and also the vacation is over and again work with unpredictable shifts and no inspiration at all. I have real procrastination. Sound familiar? “You’re a psychologist, help yourself,” you say. Psychologists are ordinary people and experience the same feelings as non-psychologists. There is a creative crisis, burnout, lack of mood, something in life is not working out, illness, stormy relationships, and all sorts of other problems. Where do you get the strength for work and creativity!? Clients come to a psychologist in a difficult state, they need help. A psychologist is a donor of energy, emotions, thoughts, awareness for the client. To give to another, the donor needs an excess or at least a neutral state. It looks like the time has come to find ways to charge the battery, and then you see, you won’t have to put it off! What will we do? How to deal with procrastination? Procrastination - putting off important things occurs due to a lack of internal energy. And energy is closely related to motivation. Due to weak motivation, the acute understanding of the importance and necessity of the task is lost and it is postponed. There are a lot of other more important or interesting things to do! To stop procrastination, it is important to renew your motivation! Breathe energy into the work - life! Why do you even need to do this? Where are you going? Next, I’ll tell you how to increase motivation. In one of the previous articles, I wrote about 2 types of motivation. There is an “OT” motivation, in this case a person is driven by some kind of “horror story”, and in order not to fall into it, he is forced to move and do something so that it doesn’t feel bad. The second type of motivation is “K”, in this case a person is attracted by an idea, desire, deed, figuratively speaking “yummy”. A person runs towards this desired goal. Most people are motivated by “horror stories” and do anything in life out of fear. So: Motivation (dream, desire) leads to action. Action leads to results. The result gives a certain effect, for the sake of which everything is started. Changes in actions lead to the effect of the dream! Wow.....Are you already dreaming?)) If we refuse to change our actions, we get undesirable consequences. Refusal to change can have secondary benefits and significant losses in life! And now I suggest filling out a simple square: Divide the page into 4 parts. On the top right, answer the question: What will happen if the change occurs? On the top right, write: What will happen if the change does NOT happen? On the bottom left, write: What will NOT happen if the change occurs? On the bottom right, write: WHAT WILL NOT happen, if the change does NOT happen? P.S.
