Now is not the easiest time for many. The usual way and rhythm of life has changed. Many have switched to remote work, some have been laid off. Children do not go to school or kindergarten, and are forced to stay at home 24 hours a day. Theatres, museums and libraries have closed. Conferences, congresses and other events have been cancelled. Some were planning a trip, which had to be cancelled. Most of us are faced with many restrictions, and the most unpleasant thing is that it is not clear when all this will end. If we knew the exact date, it would be much easier. It seems that little depends on us, but in fact this is not entirely true. What can be done to make it easier to survive difficult times? First of all, it is important to remember that quarantine, sooner or later, will definitely end. And we have experienced economic crises more than once.📌 You shouldn’t spend hours searching for information about the virus. Ask yourself, do you really need this information?📌 Take care of your valuables. Even in quarantine, you can probably do what you like. This is important because it brings joy and gives energy.📌 Maintain a daily routine.📌 Physical activity. Regular exercises can be done at home. And if you want something more serious, now many fitness centers offer a new format of online training.📌 Communicate with friends, support each other.📌 Try to focus on the positive. Instead of paying attention to limitations, to the fact that you are not you can, look at what you can. For example, you have a birthday, and you are used to celebrating it with friends. The reality is that now you cannot meet with friends and sit in your favorite cafe. But you can gather your friends on Zoom and have a great time. The benefits include significant savings because everyone brings their own drinks and snacks. If you like to travel, start planning your trip. Think about where you would like to go, develop a route, look for useful information, watch a video. And most importantly: yes, you did not choose quarantine and do not voluntarily sit at home. But you can choose how you want to live under these circumstances. How to use them in the best way for you. If it’s very difficult for you now, if your anxiety is off the charts and you need support, seek psychological help. For those who are now in a very difficult time, I am conducting one-time consultations for donations throughout April. Take care of yourself!
